HiFi Clyde's Chattanooga

Drove into town to visit my friend who had recently moved to the area. She told me she had the perfect spot for us to eat at. Esthetically, I was in ❤️. So much to look at & take in. Our server was a Dynamic powerhouse! Just the right amount of energy, welcome to my house & I got you. I told her about my pepper allergy and before I knew it her manager came over to inquire more & gave me several different options that would be safe. The portions were ample, the drinks never were empty & I absolutely wish I was closer to go back again! If visiting the Chattanooga area, I would 💯 % recommend this visual kaleidoscope of days gone by. I don't usually say this, but don't forget to check out the bathroom! I won't ruin it for you... Oh, and if any Upper Management or the Owner of the restaurant happens to see this, your server Day, literally made mine! She went Above and Beyond making me feel safe, heard & valued. Thank her & your Staff for delivering an unexpected wonderful experience from the front door to my last bite. I will be back!

We had an awesome server who was very attentive. Glad they had seating out on the patio type area at low tables. There was a group of us and our group kept growing and they just went with the flow...thank you!

The Burger Week Promotion drew me back here! I hadn't been in years! Didn't realize I had missed it! I got my order to go and my server was excellent! It looked to be run by young people! Lol, I know this sounds crazy but the atmosphere was casual as always, comfortable might be a better word. Everyone was very polite and verbally professional but low key! The food was very good! I treated 2 other people to the Burger Week Special! They were delighted! I got me extra for later! I really enjoyed this and won't be a stranger!

We had the 1/2 smoked chicken but instead of smoked, we asked for fried chicken. It came out amazing. So tender, and juicy! The kitchen did an impeccable job with this request.

First time ever coming. Drove up from southern Georgia to see the band The Resonauts. The staff were so friendly and inviting. The food was fantastic. And the atmosphere was electric. I'll very likely plan more trips here in the future.

Friendly bar environment with plenty of seating, and screens for watching sports. Big selection of sandwiches, burgers, and general bar fare. I had the BLT and it was not your general BLT. It was delicious. My Mom and sister really like their sammies also. Large dog friendly outdoor seating, and parking in back.

Went there with 2 other people on New Year's Eve. They had a $5 cover charge posted on their website but when we got there they had increased the price to $15. The young person at the door was clearly embarrassed by the situation. We asked to speak to a manager and a lady named Katie came out. We informed her of the situation and she simply said that she wasn't involved in posting anything on the website and couldn't do anything. Incredibly enough she was able to make an inexcusable situation from bad to worse by being condescending, passive aggressive and overall unpleasant. She even yelled at us "Have fun!!" In a sarcastic tone as we were leaving. Some people were arriving and we informed them of the situation and price gouging and they decided to change venue as well so at least we were able to avoid them a similar unpleasant experience. Obviously Clyde's lost our business that night and we ended up at another establishment (Bless yer Heart) where we weren't charged an entrance fee and we were treated with respect. We even got a free drink at midnight. I will make sure everyone I know is aware of how Clyde's used bait and switch and tripled the price after advertising a different price online. I am a member of many local groups and this could have been an opportunity for a great recommendation and positive review, however due to Katie's rude and obnoxious behavior it will be a negative one.

Another stop in the "3 days of Eating and Drinking in Nooga" tour. It's a big, open space with funky decor and a big, interesting food menu and tons of local beer options on tap and can and bottles. Our server was an interesting human being who fit the funky decor. We ordered the Huevos in a Hole and Chicken and Waffles. My buddy loved his but I was expecting a big old bone in fried chicken quarter or breast, not a skinny little cutlet. That was the one disappointment. Here's the Breakdown: Funky Space +1 star; good beer selection +1 star; interesting menu +1 star; entertaining server +1 star. If I got a nice, crispy, juicy piece of fried chicken it might have been five stars. I'd go back to try other items
