Chattanooga Ducks

We had a great first time experience riding in the DUKW! The tour included a bit of downtown and the river. Our guide was entertaining and informative. Once in a while it was hard to hear or understand what was being said.

This was a fun experience! Check in at the Moonpie General Store for your tour tokens and a mini Moonpie for the ride. The Ducks tour boards under the overpass across from the Moonpie store. The tour lasts an hour. You get to drive through town and then into the Tennessee River. You will learn some Chattanooga history.

We had an amazing experience on the Chattanooga Ducks, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Captain Rob was fantastic. He made the tour fun, interactive, and full of interesting history and local insight. Letting the girls take a turn driving the boat was something they will not forget. What really stood out was how much he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience from start to finish. That kind of service is rare and it made all the difference. If you are visiting Chattanooga, do not skip this. And if you get Captain Rob, you are in great hands.

The Duck Ride is so much fun! Captain Rob is great - he persevered until our daughter finally drove on the water, and he shared a lot of great info and history of Chattanooga. The boat/pier where you check in us really pretty inside, and there are old games to play while you wait. (Note: parking across the street is $8 for 3 hours not $1 per hour like the duck website says)

I took my grandchildren here for an adventure with them. It was a very fun day and a learning experience for them both. As soon as we got off the boat, my grandson (8) said, I'd like to do this all over again right now!! My granddaughter (5) said, it was really fun Bebe, but I'm hungry ;-) The driver gave us good info about Chattanooga and the trip both on land and river was very nice and informative. Captain Barry was fun and informative. I cannot believe in my decades of visiting Chattanooga that I waited this long to do the Ducks!

What a fun experience!! Our tour guide, Captain Rob, was energetic, knowledgeable, and great with kids. He let every child on board (and "child at heart" drive the boat, which was definitely a highlight for all of us. After coming to Chattanooga my whole life, I'm mad it took me this long to hop on a duck boat. You won't regret it!

We all had a wonderful time Captain Rob was great and fun. It was an awesome time for everyone. It was a great way to learn about Chattanooga history.
