Absolutely love coming here! I have been here several times to buy paint and every single time I am greeted with a friendly employee. They are very helpful and honest with their assistance with their products. Would rather pay more here than be ignored at the big box stores!

When kings closed at 12 noon on sat ace came in clutch with the right tool for the job. The grout bag they had was a fabric one lined with rubber it worked great. Also any cake decorator would prolly be in aww with a tube that big.

Got immediate help to locate right items in store. First time I'd ever been in the store. It's clean and well organized. Friendly staff. Usually the case at Ace Hardwares in my experience.

Their staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had 3 different employees ask if I need help with anything in the 5-10 minutes I was there, a great experience and will definitely be back.

I had a vehicle key made there and it was fast, painless, and worked flawlessly the first time. No drama, no multiple tries, no excuses. Just competent people who know what they’re doing. If you need any kind of key made and want it done quickly and correctly, this is the place to go. O'Donnell Ace Hardware is one of those places that just gets it done right.

Don't waste your time or money at ace in independence, they do not honor the promotion they have up in the store. Tried doing a bait and switch at the register. I got the battery charger combo that said you get a choice of one of 5 items. I picked one and when I got to register they said the promo ended. When the tag clearly states 1/31/25. But i could still do the promo of i buy the 400.00 option over the 200.00 one i got... what a scam, they even called the owner and he's the one that said to not honor the promotion. If they don't want to honor what they post in their store don't post it. Don't try scamming customers.

Absolutely wonderful! The staff were super kind and helpful! They cut glass on the spot for you which was great as I needed to replace a window. They cut it perfectly and thanks to them I was able to leave with the glass and putty. I ended up fixing the window and now it’s as good as new!!

Just a handy hardware store. Not a giant place like Home Depot but where someone will help you find what you're looking for.
