Capitol Auto & Diesel

I canNOT say enough good things about Capitol Auto & Diesel. My wife and I are from out of the area on a RV trip when our truck started having a loss of power issue. I did a Google search for a shop and found Capitol and I made an easy online appointment for first thing in the morning. As it turns out I was a day early for my appointment but John and his guys took me in anyway when others would have turned me away until my appointment time. Within a few hours they had diagnosed and found the problem. Parts were ordered and the following afternoon we were back on the road. It’s been several days with several hundred miles with zero issues. I was very grateful to them for fixing my issue. I’ve had the issue pop up before and another shop from another state has seen it twice and had claimed to have “fixed” the issue. Turns out they had not only diagnosed it improperly but had charged me for parts I didn’t need. So, it such a welcomed relief to find a great shop. If I need more work done I will definitely drive 6 hours to have Capitol Auto & Diesel work on my truck. Thank you guys, you were a lifesaver.

We had gone to one garage for about 20 years for our Chevy pickup until the owner of that garage passed away. His daughter recommended Capitol Automotive since that is where she takes her vehicles. We had a great initial visit. They explained fully everything they did and kept us informed throughout the day. They did a complete inspection and performed all necessary services. We would highly recommend Capitol Automotive for work on any vehicles.

I would highly recommend this place. They saved me over $3000. My truck broke down on the way to work. Had to towed here. They got to it that day. After two days they reached out and let me know my fuel pump, fuel injector etc… would need to he replaced. As I thought that was the issue. They ordered the part. The day they were going to fix it they called me. The tech John noticed there was a recall for my fuel pump. Now I already had it replaced by the dealership ship a while ago. However, with my particular truck they can be faulty often. So, I had it towed from here down the road to the dealership. Sure enough, they are replacing it all has part of my warranty because it was faulty. Thanks again!!!

Capitol Automotive was extremely thorough and detail-oriented when working on my car. They kept me informed and communicated clearly throughout the entire process, which I really appreciated. They even went out of their way to pick up parts locally to get everything done quickly. Their pricing is also very reasonable, and they did a great job overall. I highly recommend them!

I can’t recommend Capital Automotive enough. It’s not often that you come across a shop this organized and provides reliable service. They were able to provide an appointment with relatively short notice and had our truck back the same day. If you are looking for a great shop at a fair price, give them a call.

There was oil in the retainer cup below the new oil filter. I didn’t know if it was leaking or never cleaned out after my oil change. I wiped it dry and drove 4 short drives around town. No leaks so far. Hopefully all good.

Had quite a bit of work done on my Acura, I thought I would be down a car for at least a week but they were very quick! Upfront about pricing, texting with the mechanic/shop was very convenient. Staff was kind, knowledgeable, and didn’t push me into extra services (which is important to a female with no vehicle experience). Thank you!

The folks at Capital Automotive were very communicative and up front about their work. You knew how much your service would cost 24 hours ahead of time. I had an alignment for my car done.
