Well, the times of rising prices have got hold here at Bodines restaurant. Gone are all the $7.99 dinner specials, they all went up to $8.99 to $9.99. Even the Taco Salad that used ti be $7.99 is $10 bucks now! The food on the specials has gotten smaller. You might not notice, but I been coming here a long time so I know. The food itself is still good as is the service. I guess the good ole days are gone and just be ready to spend more on food. Still beats cooking at home and doing dishes! Came back and got the blackened sole fish filet, pretty render and a nice change from the burgers.

My son and I stopped for a beer and it was nice. After not having been there for a month, we stopped again and the bar tender remembered what we drank and had it served as soon as we sat at the bar! The beer is kept on ice and is wonderfully cold!!!!

I was so impressed with waitress Lisa at the Bodine’s restaurant this morning. She took my card at the table so I don’t have to go stand in line to pay like at CVI. She also looked at the back of my card and asked to see my ID, which I had written on there, which almost nobody ever does anymore. Not to mention, the price for lunch was extremely good compared to most in the area. All good. 😊 It’s happened again! Two weeks later, I go back to Bodine‘s for an early lunch with my lady friend. We had the pleasure of Sebastian as our server. What a kind and generous young man. Made us both feel very welcome and pampered. Once again, very good job Bodines. 👏

Had lunch Monday April 6. Must have gotten new cook because it was terrible. Had Fish& it was so overcooked and crust was like cardboard. Must have just used flour. Awful. Brought large combo home for dinner. Mistake. No cheese or sauce, so dry. Was limit fit it eat. I spent $75 for food that was unfit for consumption. Have had good meals there before. Felt so bad for poor waitress she didn’t cook it. Won’t make this mistake again

My folks had dinner Tuesday night for their anniversary and the food was terrible. Her shrimp were so overcooked they were hard as rocks. I had potato skins today and they were overcooked as well.

I got to breakfast here on the weekend and the staff is always extremely friendly. Julie is the sweetest waitress and always takes great care of us. Love the environment.

The price for my meal was fine($10.99). However the meal itself was not good. *Chicken Fried Steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. Came with a choice of soup or salad. I chose the salad.* The salad was basic & fine. The Chicken Fried Steak was cold, stiff & dry; with gravy that was bland, not savory at all. The serving of vegetables were small in portion(they are spread-out on my plate, giving a larger portion appearance). The mashed potatoes were fine, yet very small portion. Our waiter got me another small scoop, after asking if all was okay? (I mentioned the size of the portion for my potatoes, he agreed it was a small amount) The service was very good. Friendly & attentive. I don't think that I would eat there again, nor recommend the place to anyone. Oh. The price for a 16oz. domestic tap beer was very good! Just $2.75!

I had a turkey melt, which was unremarkable but standard diner style fare. If that’s what you’re looking for this is the place for you! There wasn’t much on the sandwich barely any chili’s just a dollop of mayo and I couldn’t even tell if there was any cheese on there at all. Pretty bland. Loaded with butter and very greasy. It seemed like they were sparingly with the french fries, as well. My waitress, Melissa barely anything to me she was polite but not personable. I was there around 2:30 and it wasn’t very busy so I don’t know if that was the problem but whatever. You have to wonder if the head chef even tries to eat his/her own food. Oh well, hope you don’t mind walking through smoke-filled room to get to the place to eat. I’m not sure when these casinos are going to figure out that they should isolate the restaurants to bring in more local (non smoker) customers. Doubt that I would ever return here.
