Great place to learn about African animals and see them up close! Highly recommend purchasing the Expedition Passport which includes admission, African Bush Safari Tour, Tram Shuttle, SuperMog Adventure Tour, Tiger Splash Show, Feed A Tiger, Giant Reptile Show, and Wonders of the Wildlife Show or Peditor Feed. Be sure to check the website for the lastest list of shows and deals, such as $12 admission during your birth month. They are not corporatly funded. It is privately owned. So do not expect anything fancy. Do expect GREAT, knowledgeable and friendly employees!

This one an amazing experience. The animals were so happy, it was nothing like a zoo. We got to feed an elephant off of the bus, it really felt like an actual safari. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and I could tell they really take incredible care of the animals. We’ll definitely come back again. If you go on your birthday the general admission is only about 13.00.

We've been here a few times now, and we've had a great time every visit. From the setup and how we were able to interact with the animals, you can tell they take good care of them. Everything looked clean, and the animals seemed active. There's actually a lot to do here, it's not just walking around looking at animals in cages. We did the African Bush Safari, and that was probably our favorite part. You get really close to giraffes, zebras, and antelope. We fed a giraffe, and that was such a cool experience. They also have different shows and activities throughout the day. We saw things like the Predator Feed (I think it's only on certain days), Tiger Splash, and some reptile exhibits. There's definitely enough to keep you busy for a few hours. And yes, we fed the tigers too. Not gonna lie, that was a little scary, but also really exciting. We missed the campout event last year and still kind of regret it. They're having it again this year on 5/16, and we might join this time.

No idea how I didn't know this place existed, and what an absolute gem it is! We went for the Predator Zipline and stayed for the whole day doing different things at the park. Privately owned so it doesn't have the commercialized zoo feel (and I've been to plenty), and the difference is obvious right off the bat. The animals have much more natural enclosures, a lot more room, they're very active and almost always visible. Also, you'll NEVER get within 5 feet of a Bengal tiger at a zoo, a harrowing yet amazing experience. Highly recommend the Supermog tour (daily), it really helps showcase the animals up close. And definitely do not miss Tiger Splash (daily), watching a tiger jump into a pool and swim around is something I never knew I was missing, and something I'd hazard to guess you will never see anywhere else. Predator Feed is also great if you're there on the right day (3x/wk). The staff are amazing and I really respected their attitude towards, and love of the animals, and it definitely shows all across the park. Check the schedule for other events throughout the week, and this is definitely a day trip place, so don't plan on just wandering around for an hour.

So much fun! We really enjoyed our time there. We were passing through and decided to make a stop to see some animals. We were amazed at the carnivore interactions with all the zookeepers. What a fantastic rescue Santuary. Highly recommend.

Omg, this was such an amazing experience! We were there from opening until about 4 PM, and the time seriously flew by. Almost every animal was actively walking around or relaxing super close, which made it even more special. You can really tell how much the staff cares about the animals. What stood out most to me was during the tiger show, if a tiger didn’t feel like participating, they were never forced or punished. The keepers just moved on and kept the crowd entertained, which I really appreciated. The whole place is well-maintained, and the animals genuinely look healthy and happy. There are also so many activities to do (most of them free), which made it even better. I already can’t wait to go back! 🐻✨

Went here this past Sunday for my sister's birthday. It was raining, so most of the park was closed off because of running water and mud. The only part that was open was the safari. We had bought tickets beforehand, so we didn't want them to go to waste. What could have turned into a rained out activity, it was actually a great experience! The safari was short, about 25 minutes, but it was awesome. Our guide/driver Armando was great. We got to feed one of the giraffes, Timba, who was really cute and friendly. Walked right up to us and got some great close up pictures and videos. Then we drove around and looked at the zebras, antelope and bulls. We all had a great time despite most of the zoo being closed off and not seeing the other animals. All the staff including the two women at the gift shop were extremely helpful, friendly and wonderful. Wish we could return for another visit!

Play another 20 minutes from Out of Africa and absolutely love visiting this facility. The animals are very well cared for and everyone is very friendly. On this particular day I signed up for the carnivore encounter and chose the lion. My carnivore trainer Britney, was exceptional in her knowledge of the Lions and was very friendly. She made it really educational and fun encounter. Anyone who goes here, I highly recommend doing the carnivore encounter where you can choose a bear, line, or tiger. I was able to feed the lion safely and help with doing enrichment. I will definitely be back to do a tiger encounter. This is a great place to visit for families and people of all ages. There are so many animals to see and so many other encounters and ways to interact with the animals.
