Sterling Hills Golf Club

I’ve photographed many weddings at Sterling Hills over the years, and it consistently delivers beautiful, timeless images. Think Tuscan/Spanish-style clubhouse, rolling-hills views, a garden ceremony site with a gazebo, floor-to-ceiling windows in the reception hall, cozy fireplace, a fountain, and a generous patio—this place photographs like a private villa. From a workflow perspective, the guest flow is seamless (ceremony → cocktail hour on the patio → reception), and there’s tons of variety within a short walk—great for staying on timeline while giving couples a diverse gallery. I delivered next-day photos from my most recent wedding here, and the images feel both editorial and effortless. Played our tournament on June 27th. Staff are welcoming and pleasant. Course in great condition. Greens are running true and well kept. Will play again!

First time playing here. No regrets. Friendly staff and great course. The greens are nice, fairway and cafeteria. Cafeteria opens a little late. The coffee was surprisingly good.

Our experience working with Sterling Hills was fantastic! We are so happy with the venue, the sales team, and the day-of staff! We were sold on using Wedgewood for our wedding because of the affordability - the all-inclusive aspect was a mere bonus for us. We were sold on Sterling Hills because of the GORGEOUS ballroom, and the proximity to hotels for our out-of-town guests (95% of our guest list). I'm a DIY bride, and I loved that I could get away with minimal decorations at this venue! The majority of my decorations were for the welcome table; we did bud vases on all the tables and it was absolutely perfect (we're a pretty minimalist couple). We went for the buffet dinner and received compliments all night about how amazing all of the food was! We travelled to Camarillo from the Bay Area for our wedding, and the sales team was very flexible with us in terms of in-person meetings versus phone meetings. On our way down to Camarillo for our Wedding Day, my now husband was reading Yelp reviews of the venue for fun - we got a kick out of one where a couple described "living very busy lives" and being more or less "conned into believing Sterling Hills would handle everything." look guys, be realistic - Sterling Hills will handle all the things they are responsible for. but as the couple, you still have responsibilities and decisions to make. this is not a 100% hands-off deal. if you hire external vendors, that's your responsibility. but even preferred vendors booked through Sterling Hills will still need your input and will still need to coordinate directly with you. We are extremely happy with our whole experience. We had a couple things that weren't exactly right, but they were so minor and insignificant that it didn't even bother us. Highly recommend this venue.

Amazing place. It is a great place to go to the driving range or play golf. It is recommended to get the membership for a better deal.

The staff at Sterling Hills were exceptionally friendly and professional. Our group really appreciated the detailed explanations and warm welcome we received upon arrival. The course itself offers a fun challenge—just enough to keep things interesting without being overwhelming—and the green fees are very reasonable. The only downside was ball visibility near the range area courses; it was surprisingly difficult to locate my ball with scattered range balls across the fairways in that section. A bit more maintenance could make a big difference.

Overall appears to be a great golf course. Was here for a wedding. Fornthe venue, would have expected nicer tables, clean event room (floor) and bathrooms.

Really like this course for the value. Come before twilight and get a meal voucher or if you come after then it’s a drink voucher. Small bucket to warm up is included! Greens are really fast for some reason but the course is green and great to play on! Staff are also super nice, would def revisit again.
