Stopped by Institution Brewery in Camarillo for lunch and had an awesome experience. We ordered the Carne Asada pizza and wow… she calls it iconic, and honestly, she’s right. Tons of flavor, perfectly cooked, and just flat-out delicious. We also had the Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and had a really great dressing that pulled it all together.
I tried the Mexican lager as well, and the beer was really good — smooth, refreshing, and perfect with the meal.
We sat out on the patio and loved the relaxed, low-key vibe. Super comfortable spot to hang out, enjoy great food, and just take it easy. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.

Low key, classy hang, great beer and pizza, I did not see the full menu, just chilled out on the back patio. I will be back, this was my first time.

Great selection of beer, very good tasting beers. We tried the pepperoni and the carne asada pizza. They were both great. The garlic pizza sticks are so perfect. My go to beer is their IPA and on these bones IPA. You gotta try it if you're near by.
All time favorite place to hang in Camarillo. Food and beer are consistently amazing and so is the service. Always a good time.
Institution Ale is easily one of my favorite spots! The beer is excellent, the pizza is incredible, and the prices are very fair. The atmosphere is fantastic and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to hang out. Highly recommended!
Great spot with tons of unique beers to try, an outdoor tasting room and an awesome food menu. Indoor and outdoor seating and even a 21+ area during peak periods.
They also have a special retail section where you can load up on T-shirts, hats, mugs, & other awesome goodies, and even bring home your favorite canned beers.
