Great little place that most would probably drive right by. We were seated right away and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the garlic cheesebread for an appetizer and then the chicken cordon Bleu, meatball sub, and chicken fettuccine aldredo.

Based on reviews we made dinner plans here today. From the outside, the 3 of us were a little hesitant to go in, but based on the reviews went inside. So glad we did! Had the ribeye (medium rare),seafood pasta dish and beef stroganoff and they were all absolutely delicious! Service was excellent, atmosphere was cozy, and everything was great and cooked perfect! The fried calamari was a little over cooked for my taste. Just get past the outside and location and you will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back!
Nice hidden spot near the freeway. We were trying to look for a good happy hour so decided to try this place. We ordered three items on the happy hour menu. We got the Cheese Ravioli , Wings & the Garlic Cheese Bread. Portions were really small even for two people, like kid portion size so beware of that. We only got about 2 small wings each, 2 raviolis each and split the garlic bread. And we also split the pesto pasta. The pasta was ok. We still felt hungry after that so we had to eat somewhere else after. I have been to a lot of many different happy hours , I have never seen portions so small before . I think the prices should be lower for how much little food you get. However our server was very nice and attentive and the drinks were made beautifully and they were strong. I don't think I would come back for the food though just for the deal on the happy hour drinks.
I often say you can tell a lot about people by the reviews they write. I hope you can tell from mine that I *love* good food! The Ramp offers incredible food and drinks, plus attentive service. After two of our fave Italian restaurants closed, we went without for a few years. We learned about this place (on an episode of Rockford Files, no less!) and knew we had to try it. The dishes we’ve enjoyed here include Chicken Parmigiana, Garlic Cheese Bread, Side Salad, Seafood Combination, plus the Steak and Shrimp. All of the food was simply fantastic and priced appropriately. We’ve also had some desserts here and I can’t recall what they were other than delicious! The warm atmosphere and romantic music in the dining room make for a great date night. I don’t understand other reviewers’ concerns about the valet. We’ve never had an issue. The parking lot is tiny and an economy with plenty of jobs is a healthy one. People need to work in a capitalist society; calm down. Since baseball season is getting started soon, we plan to come back and watch some Dodgers games in the bar. Whether you’re looking for superb dining or a relaxed bar to watch your fave sport, you can’t go wrong at The Ramp!
So it's been years since we've been here. We decided to give it another shot. It was a little rough. This time, we could tell they did a little face-lift, and the atmosphere had definitely improved. We had Ribeye and Halibut. It was good, not great but good. I also had the clam chowder, which was very good. The atmosphere is definitely a bit dated feeling, and you have to pay for valet parking, which doesn't make any sense. It's easy to just park myself. I get it in Hollywood where there's no parking. It just didn't make sense here. The service was wonderful. They are very attentive to our needs without overdoing it. I did appreciate that. So, overall, it was a good meal.
Ordered takeout from The Ramp, and wow – what a culinary nightmare. They gave me the wrong pizza, then told me to bring it back for a swap. Great, I thought… until the “replacement” flatbread pepperoni arrived looking like someone threw it in a blender, stomped on it, and then set it on fire just for good measure. The burgers and chicken sandwich? Undercooked, soggy disasters. I’ve seen more appetizing meals in a middle school cafeteria trash can. I love giving local spots a chance, but this was overpriced garbage that made me question every life choice leading up to this meal. Save yourself the time, money, and digestive trauma – stay far, far away from The Ramp!
Really cool low key place directly next to the 5 freeway. Steak was pretty good, linguine & clams was also great! Service was good, prices reasonable, and the atmosphere was just the vibe we needed after a hectic drive out of Burbank Airport. Definitely recommend!
Made reservations for sons bday , got there and the place was empty … we were sat in a tiny corner table which was ok but a bit cramped for 6 people.. then we were asked if we wanted to try the cheese bread appetizer, sure .. they brought it to us burnt!! I wanted to send it back but feared what they would do to our meals so I said nothing.. Shortly after ordering they began to move the tables around making one huge table right next to us ! Sure enough within a few minutes a huge party arrived and they were seated so close it was like we were all together !! They were so loud, and the music was so loud! I just wanted out of there… My halibut dinner was 33 dollars for a disgusting piece of halibut covered in a gross artichoke sauce I had to scrape off the sauce to eat the halibut which had no flavor The mashed potatoes were boxed and gross, the steamed broccoli and cauliflower was tasteless .. my husband ordered lasagna and it was a small rectangle in a small dish served on a huge plate! No salad nothing just this hunk of lasagna! I could go on but for 145.00 I would have rather had McDonald’s , worst experience ever!!
