Philly's Best Cheesesteaks

This is my first time having Philly cheesesteak. And it was the best! Very tasty! I also have their pizza fries, which is melted cheddar cheese with marinara sauce. It was the bomb! The people there were really nice, service was great! I love the atmosphere of their place. It felt like I was transported back in the 90s - photos of celebrities with their signed autographs and things of Philly like Rocky. I went there in the late afternoon so it wasn’t too crowded around that time. If I’m back in the area, I would love to try their other items. Five stars across the board.

Only customers in the place on a Tuesday in Burbank, and we ordered 2 meatball sandwiches $30 nasty as hell, dry cold bread (not even toasted) cheese wasn’t melted was cold and hard which tells me the meatballs aren’t fresh meaning HOT because they would have melted the cheese somewhat no marinera sauce inside the sandwiches! It was bad! Called to complain Mitchell answered said he wasn’t the owner or the cook I explained to him as a business owner this is how employees can ruin a business! He said thanks for the feedback didn’t say hey let me fix the problem let me give you some new sandwiches or a refund or a credit how can we make it up to you? NOPE NOTHING! Just a thanks for letting us know we suck, I’ll tell the cook which I hardly doubt I hope the owner cares and responds to this review such a shame! Phillys best ——try Phillys worst! 🙄

Simple, high quality, very yummy! Went on a Thursday around lunch time, there was no wait but there was a constant flow of customers. Got the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms and fries. I felt the pricing was fair for the high quality meat, but the fries were a bit overpriced and not enough for sharing. Service was quick and efficent. Will definitely make this my go to spot when I crave a Philly cheesesteak. The image below is of half my sandwich because I forgot to take the photo before I started eating.

Pretty good philly cheese steak. My only minor gripe was that the image of the cheese fries displayed on the board looks so much larger than what they give you. They show you this large circular container with yellow cheese draped over the fries, I thought it would be large enough to share. I was super disappointed when I got home to see the world’s smallest bag of fries with a tiny cup of yellow cheese on the side. They literally look like a child size bag of fries and they charged me $6 for it. Definitely a rip off. But cheese steak was very enjoyable.

"Cheese Attack" Crew Special / steak, mushrooms, American, provolone, cheese wiz - 5⭐! I only recently discovered Philly's Best Cheesesteaks, which is a shame because I love cheesesteaks! Cheesesteaks are in my top ten all-time favorite sandwiches. The Philly's Best Burbank store was my second visit to one of their locations. They have over a dozen locations around Southern California and if my first two visits are any indication, they all are amazing. In addition to their robust regular menu, the Burbank location also has a menu board with a bunch of custom combinations courtesy of their crew. I love this idea and I knew I had to order from their "secret" menu. I chose the Cheese Attack, featuring three melted cheeses. It was very cheesy but the flavors paired well with the steak and mushrooms without dominating the sandwich. Honestly, this could be a standard menu option and lots of people would enjoy it. My sandwich was fresh, hot, and delicious. Consistent with the other location, Philly's Best places the cheese on the bread before they add in the meat. I don't mind cheese on top but I like that everything stays together this way without making a mess. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were quick with the order. Like the other location I visited, they turn their shop into a shrine for Philadelphia and they also focus on street art accents which is nice to see. It is in a small strip mall with limited parking but there is lots of easy street parking nearby. I am two for two with Philly's Best and I look forward to discovering more of their locations as well as returning to the two I've been to so I can try more of their menu.

I've never been to Philly, so I can't speak for authenticity but their cheesesteaks are good. They won't blow your mind or anything, but they are consistent, have a nice toppings bar, and array of soda.

Solid cheesesteak/sandwich spot with lots of options. Cheesesteaks/sandwiches are about $12. Some other options include salads, chicken fingers, french fries and soft drinks. Lots of Philly-themed decor...nice to browse while you wait. A welcomed change to the fast-food places in the nearby area. Friendly and efficient staff.

The Philly cheesesteaks are delicious, the cheese French fries are a great add on, and they have beer! The service is as good as the food. Good decor. A hidden gem in Burbank.
