Octopus Japanese Restaurant

They have all you can eat lunch deals that are twenty something bucks while dinner price is $40. Their bento boxes give you a lot of food at a great price as well. Octopus is always busy but the turnover is quick so seating never takes too long. The service is good, too. The atmosphere is okay, a little generic like a hotel restaurant. Overall though, you get a lot for your money here and that's what counts.

Rarely will you find a restaurant offering the level of hospitality and service that is provided as a matter of course at Octopus. The staff go above and beyond what is expected and create an environment that you will want to revisit over and over. To say the food is delicious is an understatement. Try the spicy tuna on crispy rice and you'll spend the next week day-dreaming about getting more. Octopus is a gem in the Burbank area, if you haven't eaten here yet you're missing out.

Moony is THE man! Sit at the sushi bar if you can and if you're lucky Moony will be serving up the goods. This is the absolute best ACE sushi place on planet earth. Super fresh quality fish that doesn't feel like a factory pumping rolls out. Plus their additional items are just fantastic. I would recommend specific things but everything I ordered was perfect. Sorry my photos suck on this one I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. My only complaint is that they only have one location! Open one in SD please!!!! Moony ftw though. That guy gets it.

If you’re going to Octopus, do yourself a favor and ask for Jenifer. Seriously, she’s one of those rare people who actually makes the whole experience better without trying too hard. Super attentive, genuinely kind, and somehow always one step ahead without being overbearing. You can tell she actually cares, which is… surprisingly uncommon these days. She made everything smooth, from recommendations to timing, and just had that energy that makes you want to come back. Great service like that sticks with you. Octopus is already a great spot, but Jenifer is what makes it stand out.

The food was so delicious, I’m honestly impressed! 🤩 I’ll definitely come back to try even more sushi 🍣 and bento 🍱 dishes. And big thanks for the reverse happy hour after 8PM - such a thoughtful touch for gatherings with friends and family! 🥰

I love this place! Very affordable but still high quality sushi experience. Plenty of parking in the nearby structure. There were plenty of seats available when we went for lunch on a Saturday. They had good deals on beers too. Great place to stop before or after a movie nearby.

If you love sushi, this spot is a must! 🍣 The all-you-can-eat menu has a great variety, from fresh nigiri to creative rolls and tasty appetizers like tempura and takoyaki. Everything came out fast and beautifully plated. The fish was fresh, and the flavors were on point. Service was friendly and efficient, and the vibe is casual but nice. Sgood prices, especially for the lunch AYCE! Would definitely come back. Great value, great food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely wonderful sushi spot, highly recommended! We did the all you can eat dinner and I was a bit suspicious because I’ve had bad all-you-can-eat experiences. I also have a really high standard for sushi. However, everything we ordered, about probably 15 different things off the menu, was delicious! The fish was fresh, the salads were great, even the drinks were good. Jennifer, our waitress, was really nice and had awesome suggestions. Highly recommended especially at that price!
