Erie Basin Marina

It was pretty nice to walk down by the water. We got to see boats sailing by and a beautiful sunset. Only turn off was the number of people there to get high. Otherwise it could be a great place for an evening stroll at sunset.

This place has been part of my life since I was 4 and it won't stop being that way. Park at the Marina and walk it down from the tower down to Canalside. May not be much but it's a place to watch the lake you're coming to.

We had a good experience here. Staff was friendly and helpful. The staff tries to keep only the dockers past a certain point in the parking lot. Public restrooms but showers have a code for dock holders. Each dock has a key fob to enter. So many things in walking distance from here. Food, museums etc. Music at the food stand. Gas and Diesel, pump out available. We like things in walking distance. They are open to transient boats. We would definitely stop here again.

Nice views and great spot to catch a sunset. Fuel available for boaters. Not as active this year with COVID19 closing the Hatch & adjacent restaurant. Templeton Landing open just outside if the entrance. Cruises available close by. UPDATE: Caught a storm rolling in on what started out (30) minutes before as a beautiful, hot sunny day. Capsized (2) small sailboats with strong 40-50 mph winds. Fortunately they were rescued.

Great place to take an evening stroll. Not much crowded when we visited. Good view of the canal and lake Erie. Also some food spots at the end. Very close to downtown. Street parking may be an issue in the weekends but there are many paid lots around. If you are around buffalo , this place is recommended.
