Danny's

It's right across from the AMF lanes, a great spot for a bite before or after bowling. We were a group of 12, and the restaurant easily arranged a large table so we could sit together. Service was excellent and even split the bill into individual checks so each of us could pay separately. The food was tasty. I had the mushroom burger with a side of pasta salad. The menu offers a variety of good choices, and next time I'll try the unlimited soup and salad.

I ordered a chicken salad. The place was not busy at all. It took 40 minutes for them to get me my order togo and the chicken was cold. Which tells me they threw it together in 5 minutes than it sat for the other 35 minutes. There was barely any toppings just a handful of old lettuce starting to turn in some spots. If it wasnt already so late I would take it back. Thougholy disappointed.

I have been going to Danny's for quite literally my entire life. It still looks, and even smells the same as when I was a munchkin. They have some of the best food around, and let's be honest; you can't beat a soup and salad bar. My husband and I enjoy their fish frys, and their coconut shrimp the best lately. The only critique I have is the seating. Due to some health issues, I'm not the smallest human. And those booths are the same ones that have been there forever, and unfortunately, not everyone is the same size as they were in the 90s/00s. If they updated their furnishings then this place would be borderline perfect. Regardless, I recommend this restaurant to everyone I speak to as far as dining out goes!

We enjoyed our visit to Danny’s while in town visiting from out of state. The food was great, steaks were perfect, and the service was excellent and prompt. Thanks Sam! Will definitely return if we are in the area again.

Soup and salad bar was 19.99. They didn't have much for salad. They had salad lettuce mix, cucumbers, red onions, chick peas, mozzerella cheese and beats. No cottage cheese which is my number 1 go to on my salad. The croutons are fried taste like pure beef tallon. The chicken wing soup would have to be my least favorite. Chicken wing soup is blue cheese crumbles onions celery sometimes carrot shreds. With lots of chicken, hot sauce mix never had potatoes in mine. Taste just was not my favorite. Dad got a ny strip steak price on menu was $28 and onion and mushroom supposed to be white sautéed onions and shiitake muchrooms instead it was red onions not sautéed and white mushrooms charged $33. Others may like it, myself being a chef not my go to. Took kids to bathroom the sink water was scolding hot my 6 year old has scar and massive burn on his hands. Not happy service was excellent.

EVERYONE in Buffalo knows there is nothing like a bowl or multiple bowls of chicken wing soup from Danny's. You can have the soup and salad bar special (my fav) This way you can enjoy endless chicken wing soup or any of the other soups they have available that day. Don't forget the croutons! 😊 Then spend a few minutes building your salad with a wide array of fresh toppings and your favorite dressing! If soup and salad aren't your thing. You can chose something else from the menu. What? You ask. Anything, because everything is delicious! I have enjoyed, chicken wings, beef on weck, wraps and fish fry to name a few. Leave a nice tip for your server. They are excellent, courteous, and great at their job! Enjoy!

Ive been here many times over the years. In my opinion the food is not like it used to be. It was actually gross. I had the soup/salad bar, and I had a few bites of someone's pasta dish. It wasn't about not liking the flavor, it was so unappealing. As far as service, I try to be understanding as I have waited tables myself, but our waitress actually had me wondering if we offended her somehow. We were ignored to the point it was ridiculous. She'd walk right past us to her other tables when she did come she wouldnt take anything dishes away but them would turn and clear someone else's table, if we asked for a drink or anything, it took forever and we could see her laughing with her coworkers while we were waiting and hoping shed remember our drinks. That being said, everyone has bad days , but I will NOT be returning. The salad bar food is still an uncomfortable lump in my stomach and its been hours now. Just thinking about it and remembering how that pasta looked and tasted is verging on nauseating. EDIT- I dont even know if they have wings, its certainly not know for that and I've never seen or smelled them. Its more of an upgrade to Dennys style menu.

The waitress was friendly and helpful. Food arrived quickly and were good portions for the price. Buffalo Wing Soup had great flavors, meat was a little tough. Chicken Florentine sandwich was tender but could have used additional seasoning. Veggie wrap was good. Made in house peanut butter pie was delicious! We would eat here again.
