Great overall phenomenal… however I think they use a bit too much green food coloring on their 7 layers… I was shitting green for a whole day after. 2nd time this has happened to me with the 1st being when I got the 7 “layer cake from DeCicco’s & Son

Authentic Brooklyn Italian bakery at its finest. Came in to try their rainbow donut and the sourdough bread, so far I'm impressed. Fresh, delicious and worth returning.

The best Bakery in Brooklyn, one of the best things in Brooklyn - the glory of the days passed by. The products are excellent and consistent in quality. The atmosphere is great: it’s a time capsule of our love of bread and genuine Italian baked goods…Every time I go there to by their wonderful products, it’s like a little holiday to me.

Pignoli cheesecake was 🤤 so good. Great bakery with a selection of Italian cheeses and delicacies. This place will kill your diet lol

I bought some loaves of bread from this Italian bakery years ago while staying at an Airbnb nearby. I never forgot its chewy texture and yeasty aroma. On my recent trip to NYC, I made it back to this shop, and holy guacamole- the very flavorful grilled chicken Caprese sandwich was such a mind-blower! I could taste the wholehearted freshness in the bread and the grilled chicken, and the firm yet airy bread made my day again. The Zeppole pastry was also amazing. I also really liked the staff girl’s no-nonsense style of service. Like, she answered all my questions in a very succinct way, and she helped me prepare and pack the food in such a generous and efficient fashion. She then engaged in no unnecessary small talk, just providing great service. Hahah I really loved how New York City that whole experience was. Now I wish I were a Brooklynite and could visit this cozy, neighborly, and purely amazing Italian bakery on a regular basis.

Thank you for donating gingerbread cookies to my child’s school! The children enjoyed decorating and eating these delicious cookies. It made their holiday experience extra special.

This is SERIOUSLY the best bakery in the area. Every single thing you can tell is made by someone that loves what they do. Hard to find that quality these days. The sandwiches are DELICIOUS and FRESH. Bagels. Dream cakes. Cinnamon buns. Pizza. Italian bread. I can’t go there without spending $40-50 on a variety of goodies. Go!!! Seriously, it’s life-changing good.

I had the 7Layer “donut” and someone must have forgot to add the almond paste to the batter and squeeze the raspberry jam between the layers! It’s a soft vanilla cake covered in milk chocolate with a splash of red something that has no flavor. What I will say however, the pastries and baked goods were very fresh (purchased Friday morning). Presentation was also good, however nothing i tried had a ton of flavors. EDIT: their semolina bread is amazing and very tasty!!!
