We ordered beers only and the bar tender is very welcoming and nice. The musician was excellent and he met his friends brother on the night occasionally, they played the last song together, which is fantastic!

Sometimes you get lucky! Rachel, the bartender, was welcoming, quick to serve a few beers, easy to talk to, and all-around fantastic! As a guy from the rural West, it is always a fun surprise to find So, I got on the wrong train coming out of Manhattan, and didn't realize it until I well overshot the Yellow R line by quite a while. I now had quite a long walk back to get to the correct train for Bay Ridge, and I stumbled across this place. Lucky me! They had a Haitian band playing, and I visited with the lead singer gal. She was cool and friendly. And then I met Megan, and she was excellent! Thanks for providing a cool venue and a warm vibe. Saved this place for a future visit! Thanks y'all!

Best room in NYC to hear jazz, with no BS. Wildly eclectic range of programming, with jazz and jazz-adjacent styles from all over the world. All the artists they book are fantastic.

I don't see anything else on age, but, it seems like you can get in on weekdays if you are 18+ if you are there to see a show as long as you're not at the bar. It would also help if there is someone 21+ accompanying you. But on weekends, a bouncer is there, so its definitely 21+ on weekends.

Chat this is a park slope institution. Great variety of music and drinks. One time they put like 8 horn players in the back room and they all started tootin’ at the same time. 8 horns tootin’ at once in a small room is insanely loud. Chat where else can you see something like that in nyc chat?

A place where top-level musicians perform authentic music from various countries and cultures almost every day. You can always count on it—one of the few places in Brooklyn where you can experience truly genuine music. Some performances are weekly, some are not; music schedules are on their website. Plus, the bartenders are nice and fun—it's always a good time!

Such a nice quaint place with live music, the staff is incredibly nice, sweet and gracious. Drink drinks could be a little bit stronger, but aren’t too far off. This is definitely a great place come on a Saturday and Sunday and just chill out.
