Tina Restaurant

My husband and I stopped by this El Tina on a really cold day, looking for something warm and comforting, and the experience was mixed but overall pleasant. He ordered the sancocho and I had the mondongo. The service was a strong point. Our server, I believe her name was Elba, was polite, kind, and attentive, which always makes a difference, especially on a chilly day when you just want to sit and warm up. My husband really enjoyed his sancocho and appreciated that they don’t add carrots (or potatoes), which we personally don’t like in sancocho. That alone made his dish a win. My mondongo, on the other hand, was just okay. I would call it standard, but the flavor didn’t quite hit for me. I didn’t love the taste, and while I still ate it because we were hungry and cold, I’ve definitely had much better mondongo elsewhere. Overall, the service was good and welcoming, which is why I’m giving this place four stars. The food was a bit uneven for us, but it’s still a solid spot for a warm meal and friendly service in the Bronx.

A solid buffet-style Spanish restaurant. The food is always fresh and constantly turned over. The flavor depends on what you get. I wouldn't say it's the best food I've had, but when I'm too lazy to cook, it's a nice alternative. The pollo/carne cuisado is hit or miss, but the pepper steak is usually my go to and is the most consistent. The best part about it is the price. Extremely affordable, which makes up for a lot.

Both times that I been to Tiny's has been nothing but great. Food is good and our server was very nice.

1st time here and oooouuuuu!!!!! I was blown away by the food I have an order of the stew oxtail and the mixed black beans and rice, que Rico! Soo good and our server Karina was awesome. Made us feel right at home. Definitely plan on coming back here and trying something different.

The mofongo is the best I’ve ever had I legit travel from Staten Island just to have their mofongo de chicharrón, Karina was the best and gave us the best service! I can’t wait to come back

The food here is so good!! Specifically, the sancocho is must. We love coming here and the staff is always so welcoming. We had Karina as our waitress and she was so kind in showing us the different dishes and helping us order. Such good Dominican food!!!

This was my 1st-time eating Dominican food, my colleague invited me to experience the food here, it was so delicious and portion size was so huge I couldn't eat it all I had to take the rest of my food to go. It was so delish 😋🫶🏿
