It's great to know when staff cares and goes the extra mile to help people make an appointment. My tooth is still savable but every in-network endodontist within a 50 mi radius had no appointments until at least August. But at concerned dental care Alexandra put me on a wait list and quickly called me back to fill the next available cancellation. So grateful; teeth are a great thing to take care of

I am new patient and this review is specific about Alexandra, who helped with scheduling and logistics. She was extremely professional, kind, and skilled in scheduling. Although there were no appointments available without a long wait, she booked an appointment for me and said she would call back if an opening came through cancellation. She texted me all of the contact information for her, the practice, the appointment information, and what I would need. And when a cancellation came up, she called me and rescheduled my appointment. Having worked in scheduling before, I know it's not magic to efficiently collect insurance info, check schedules, and follow up on cancellations -- even when it fells magical -- it's skill. Really impressive.

I had a great experience at Concerned Dental Care of the Bronx. Everything went extremely well from start to finish. The dentist was very friendly, took the time to listen to my concerns, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the visit. I really appreciated how attentive and professional the entire staff was. Highly recommend this office if you’re looking for quality care and a dentist who genuinely listens.

I scheduled an appointment for my son with an endodontist in the Bronx and was given a date approximately six weeks from the time of my call. Upon arrival, the front desk staff member was unapproachable and displayed an unpleasant and sarcastic attitude when I asked whether she needed my ID or my son’s. After being given paperwork to complete, I was called up by the same staff member and informed that the office does not accept my insurance. When I asked why this information was not communicated at the time of scheduling, she responded dismissively and suggested that I may have provided incorrect insurance details. This experience was disappointing. Clear communication and a welcoming, professional demeanor are essential in healthcare settings, and unfortunately, this office did not meet those expectations. I would not recommend this practice based on my experience.

I’m writing this review because I want people to be warned of the service you may receive. I have already contacted higher up management to try to get this rectified. On monday I had a root canal. Tuesday my filling broke and i guess the pressure also broke off the rest of my tooth. As i’m sitting here and writing this I have 5% of tooth left when i came in with 80% tooth. My left side is in excruciating pain. I went to an another dentist that refused to work on my mouth due to how bad this root canal was done. I was told my plug on my right side is too far up contributing to my pain and my left side wasn’t filled nearly enough. Both me and my insurance have tried to rectify this situation and have received nothing but disrespect. When I called to let them know I had a bad procedure done I was met with the most condescending attitude down to the lady asking me "so did your tooth fall out or not" after I explained multiple times both the tooth and the filling came out. They kept pushing me back to my general dentist (I already seen her too and she said they needed to fix this) I rightfully got upset because of the rudeness and asked the front desk woman if she was a doctor because she was giving out a lot of medical advice w/ no credentials. She promptly hung up on me. I called later with insurance no one would answer. Funny enough when I called alone though someone answered (same lady btw) I tried to keep my tone calm and even and tried to explain YET AGAIN the ROOT CANAL needed to be fixed. I am not asking for a crown, a reconstruction nothing else other than for them to fix the work they have done so I can move on to a more supportive dentist tha won’t make you wait 3 hours. As I was explaining to her what happened she hung up on me again. I’m sure this is the same lady even though she said it was supervisor I was talking to before 😭 I wasn’t born stupid nor have I ever been told I was stupid so I don’t understand the lies. I contacted their other office and was prompted to email them with concerns and I did so. I also want this office to be aware that I’m contact the Bronx Borough President, the state general attorneys office and I’m escalating this as much as possible until I am treated with dignity and respect. Through all of this my pain has been a 10/10 maybe even 11 sometimes. I just want the pain to subside and I would like to be treated like a patient not someone on the streets who has beef with the receptionist because that’s the type of treatment I was getting.
