Lost River Cave

This was a neat excursion to do something totally different. It had "The Goonies" vibe!! We really enjoyed! Our guide was engaging and witty!! Take some extra money because you will be pleasantly surprised by the great gift shop!! Lots of unique things to purchase for both children and adults!!! Very well worth checking out!

We loved this tour. It's short but it is very cool to be in a boat for the experience. Guides are funny and laid back. The check in process was quick and the area outside the gift shop has a lot of great photo ops

Lost River Cave is magnificent and ran by WKU. In fact it might still be the local dump if WKU hadn't stepped in and stepped up. I got a lot to say about it and its all good. Nice people, well maintained trails and cultivated wilderness with a focus on preserving nature. There is a lot of history attached to this place. I don't want to ruin it if you're taking a boat tour. As the tour guides are so good at telling the stories. Just go and check it out. All the money you spend is a donation. It is used for preserving this one of a kind place.

This is a unique cave tour being as the cave is only accessible by boat. The tour itself is pretty quick, as you cannot go too deep into the cave for safety reasons. As with many things in the area, it has some great history, including a disco from the 1930s.

Really cool place to visit with family, friends, or kids. We had a great time here learning about the history of this place and seeing the awesome cave. You get to ride a boat into the cave not real far but I would say it's about a 30 minute ride. The walk down to the cave takes about 5 minutes and it is mostly flat. We had a great time and look forward to visiting Bowling Green again. There are tons of places to see and eat at Really close to here. Next stop is the Corvette museum.....

Nice for a quick day trip. Very interesting history around the river and cave. I was disappointed that the boat tour was shorter than expected. But a very beautiful and interesting cave.

Very decent experience here at the Lost River Cave. The boat tour started with a 15-20 minute discussion about the nature surrounding the cave, and then we went down into the cave on a boat for the second half of the tour. My tour guide Connor was very funny and knowledgeable! I highly recommend this expedience

I found this place on my AllTrails App and was so happy I did. Nice easy 1.3 mile loop above ground. So beautiful. Came back for the cave tour. Can't believe this place is in town and within walking distance to gas stations.
