This has been a staple stop for years. Years and years. We have gotten a little of everything for our various pets. My last trip was pretty special. In hopes to cheer my friend up, I recorded little clips and sang over them, yes, while in the store to cheer her up over a recovery of a surgery. Even one of the specialists fed rhe archerfish while I was there for some footage! Overall, a really nice place with unique offerings of fish and other aquatic life. It is worth the trip!

Nice selection of fish and pet supplies, however, I've never seen prices so high. The only thing I thought was a real good buy was the bulk rock for aquascaping. Every animal looked to be in great health. One of the best fish selections I've seen in 35 years of being in the hobby. I'll definitely be back for more rocks.

They don’t care that they are going to kill those baby axolotls. When I asked about why they housed them in a tank with gravel (that they will eat and become impacted), they said “well more customers can see them in the tank and if they were in the tanks on the side people would miss them.” Also, they are in the tank with multiple axolotls and they said if one of the axolotls gets bitten/or nipped they just remove it until the limb or gill regenerates. You’d rather sell sick axolotls to customers than treat them humanely. Disappointing and disgusting.

This place is wonderful! We visited with my mommy and dada. We loved the experience! AJ, the guy that helped us was great. He helped by recommending things, giving us a good vision , and helping us by telling us honest first time prices to spend and proper sizes. We had a great experience buying our very first aquarium! I usually go there to enjoy pets so hope we can keep going back to buy more :) (PS: my daughter (9 yrs) enjoyed the service so much she insisted on writing this review)

I am a frequent flyer at this location.. I will say I’ve seen a decline in the appearance of the tanks as well as the health of the fish. Quarantining is part of my routine, but many tanks have fish that are so sick that I fear they affect the other tanks with their shared filtration. BUT one thing that saves this shop? The knowledgeable staff. Especially Beth, today I came back specifically to see them. They are easy to spot with their style! I am able to ask in depth questions and ask for suggestions and they nails it everytime. Not quickly telling to me to look it up or just mumbling something, taking the time to guide me through the store whether it be certain plants or fish. They know many many parameters and necessities to create the best environments. Showed me some super cool aquatic plants that were unique and fitting to what I was looking for. I will continue to return for this quality in care. This store can be very busy and the employees are strapped for time and availability of coverage, allow a little grace and always inspect the fish in the tanks for a few minutes. Check for any shimmies, sunken belly’s, fin rot.

Gerald and I came here on March 2025 and wow had this store changed. Next to a Michael’s you are able to walk around and get inspired. The staff was kind and we were able to walk around and admire the fish. Many years coming to this location this store has not changed their love and appreciation for the aquatic life ❤️🐠

I went here due to great reviews from a friend. Traveled 40 minutes to get here. Unfortunately, I was DEVASTATED after visiting! I went here to look at their Betta fish, and was very disappointed. My local Pet Co has a better selection and better, healthier quality of their Betta fish than this place! I should’ve taken pictures of the Bettas. I should’ve seen if they would’ve surrendered one to me. It was so sad. I was also devastated seeing their axolotl‘s. They’re actively dying. No Gills, extremely skinny, and on gravel. One has a lump on it, and another has a deformity at the end of its tail. When I told a worker that was working with the fish “I see you have your axolotls on gravel, that can cause impaction” he replied “yeah I know. It’s happened before.” How do you know you’re actively causing harm and still continuing to do it? How freaking sad. They also have their hermit crabs in an open top enclosure so people can touch them. You’re not supposed to handle hermit crabs. If I would’ve stuck around longer, I probably could’ve found more inadequate animal care. I was very disappointed & sad when I left. My friend who recommended the store apologized saying it was great when she was there four years ago. Management change? Probably. But DO BETTER!! Animals don’t deserve this.

The people were phenomenal, very helpful. What a beautiful store and the animals are lovely. I wish I could take them all home. My only downfall is that they do not have live blackworms for my Beta and frogs but that's okay. They've gotten used to the frozen. :)
