Mystery Hill

It is a fun day for a family.. the tour guide was great, definitely brightened up the room. Overall great experience. Highly suggest purchasing tickets in advance I had to wait about 40 minutes for the guided tour because I waiting til arriving to do so. Totally my bad though.

I would not really pay the price for the activities usually but this time was different. It was all thanks to the extremely sweet staff! They made each little activity so special for my family. They were kind, helpful and respectful. If I had any bad things to say about this place was the "may the forest be with you" shirt did not come in adult sizes. I would have grabbed one of those for myself. Kudos to the hiring staff; thanks to the employees it was so worth every penny we spent. Side note: my vertigo would not allow me to go threw the vortex anomaly but still worth every penny!

This is just a small part of our vacation but mystery Hill was amazing and I loved it! My cousin and I both loved it! They are very nice people there, and the staff is amazing! Thank you all for such warm Southern hospitality! You guys rock!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had a blast today! My kids lovingly called RD Mr. Edwards from Little House on the Prairie. Skye and RD at the Axe throwing were the hit but ALL of it was worth the Discovery Package. Gift shop was really great too!

This place is a gem if you're ever out this way. 100% worth stopping by. If nothing else, every employee was so friendly and pleasant to be around. That alone made it worth it in my eyes. Other than that, they have great activities, cool history, good food, a great gift shop, and everything is nice and clean.

Geologist Dr. Mark Ford and I enjoyed celebrating my birthday with the silent auction certificate I received from Valle Crucis several years ago. I am so happy we were able to enjoy a family owned and operated unique NC attraction with your friendly staff. Jacob you were amazing as an ax throwing coach! This has been in my bucket list for so long and you made it very memorable! May you all have ongoing success and prosperity in the years to come.

I had such a wonderful experience here! From the moment we walked in, every employee we encountered was incredibly welcoming, interactive, and full of great energy. It truly felt like the staff wanted everyone to have the best possible time, and that made the whole visit even more enjoyable. What really stood out was how engaged everyone was; the employees were friendly, enthusiastic, and happy to answer questions or chat with guests. Their positive attitudes created such a fun and memorable atmosphere. Della Jane greeted us when we came in and was bubbly and friendly. Zander & James were both great tour guides! Terry was very interactive and even offered to take some pictures for our group. And Jordan was very patient with me at axe throwing!! Cannot say enough good things about this place. You can tell the whole team here genuinely cares about the experience they provide. I highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for a place with amazing staff and a great vibe. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Water running uphill, you have to lean 90 degrees just to walk through the place, tomahawks flying thru the air, surrounded by a giant bubble... What madness is this... I have to say our visit was fun. The people running the place were great. Everyone that we encountered were super friendly. Good way to spend an afternoon. My only complaint is if you get the full ticket it's a bit costly. They do break the attractions up so you can pick and pay for the one you want.
