★★★☆☆Pretty neat place! I just happened upon it after driving along the valley parkway.
I walked around all the trails and was enjoying myself at first but then halfway thru the loud highway and traffic noises started to be annoying so I left.
Cool history on the historical marker about the quarry from early 1900s. The sandstone capital of the world!
Great treehouse with swings and gazebos. Lots of picnic tables and places to sit.
I used the bathroom in the library in the main parking lot. I didn't see one in the park itself.
It looks like a labor of love for Berea. Worth the visit.
Nice little park with walking trails surrounding a huge Lake with lots of birds and fish. Lake is stocked and you can fish and kayak there. Spacious picnic pavilion and large play area for kids, seasonal outdoor pool. I've attached some pictures of the decorated walking trails for the Berea Harvest Festival being held at Cole Lake this weekend.
They have a fantastic playground/play area for children of all sizes! The walking paths are peaceful and serene. I saw a few people fishing. I love walking around the lake, there are plenty of benches to just sit down and relax too.
But the women's bathroom eeeek, it leaves a lot to be desired, it's dark, dreary,and dank I felt like it was step away from being featured in a murder movie.
This is one of my daughters favorite parks. Plenty of activities and climbing stuff. Pretty well shaded. Has a nice tire zip line. The pavilion is spacious. There's a small path for a little hike as well.
What does this park not have? There are multiple playgrounds with a variety of themes including a zip line. The treehouse is spectacular the kiddos enjoy the views from the top! Rocking chairs facing the lake along with a walking path around truly providing everything you need in one place. Safety is top notch given the police department shares a parking lot. The library can also be found past the police station.
Wow. First time since the remodeled the place and I was impressed. They did a fabulous job. Loved the trails and the playgrounds everything was amazing.
Very well maintained and beautiful park. Library just beside it, gorgeous lake and pavilion. Like most northeast Ohio towns, its stunning.
Beautiful park with several playgrounds including one that is handicap accessible!! Gorgeous lake with option to fish or kayak. Bridges, walking trails, gazebos, covered porch. Lots of events go on here. You may find extra parking in the downtown area if the lot is full. There is a library here and a swimming pool. Lovely place.
