Took my nephew for the day. It was perfect size for us both to be able to enjoy it without being worried of losing each other. The pizza , ice cream and snow cones were really good. All of the concessions are reasonably priced and tasty too! It has a lazy river, a huge pool with Cold Water, three large slides, two medium slides and a small slide. They also have a kiddie area for small children. There are tables all around the property with shades over top. There is also a sandy volleyball court with net to play.

We had an amazing time at Summer Fun Water Park! The lazy river was perfect for relaxing, the main pool had plenty of room to spread out, and the water slides were a blast. I highly recommend renting the Caribbean Currents cabana—it’s in a great location and made the day even more enjoyable. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. Visiting on a Wednesday was ideal since the crowds were lighter. This is a fantastic spot for families and a great way to spend a summer day. Highly recommended!

We went on Friday, July 3rd. Positives: Not crowded, not long to wait in line for slides. Inexpensive to get in. I love that you can bring in your own cooler and drinks. I like that you can pay with cash. Not all places accept cash anymore. Negatives: The women's restroom was dirty. The hand driers didn't work. No hooks in the restroom to hang your purse or bag. The music was not all family friendly. You don't have to play Disney songs but at least play ones that don't talk about adult stuff.

I hate having to leave this review with my name attached to it because I don’t usually post negative reviews. In fact, we’ve enjoyed this water park for years, which makes writing this even more disappointing. However, the safety concerns we witnessed during our visit were too serious to ignore. The biggest concern was the lifeguards. On multiple occasions, guards had their backs turned to the slides while people were coming down. Some appeared more interested in talking to each other than actively watching guests. In the lazy river, one lifeguard was sitting in a tube instead of standing and monitoring the tube slide, and two others were throwing inner tubes across the lazy river while guests, including children, were actively floating by. We also witnessed two lifeguards running and chasing each other around the lazy river, which is not the behavior you expect from staff responsible for guest safety. There also seemed to be very little enforcement of safety procedures. Children were allowed to blow lifeguard whistles, which could desensitize guests to an actual emergency. Some children were walking around wearing first aid packs and carrying the red rescue tubes, leaving lifeguards without the equipment they should have readily available if an emergency occurred. We even saw children sitting in the lifeguard stands. The slide operations were also concerning. Staff were allowing up to four people to go down the tube slide at the same time, and on the body slide they were sending riders so quickly that people were exiting on top of one another. That creates an unnecessary risk of injury. As a side note, the lazy river was filthy. It was full of bugs, leaves, wood chips, hair extensions, and other debris floating throughout the water. I understand that many of the lifeguards are teenagers, but that makes proper training and supervision even more important. They are responsible for the safety of hundreds of guests, and what we witnessed did not reflect that responsibility. My intention isn’t to hurt the park’s reputation. My hope is that management takes these concerns seriously before someone gets hurt. We’d love to be able to come back and have the positive experiences we’ve had the last several years.

We were so excited to take our grandchildren out for the day. We thought $20 per person was reasonable. We were wrong. The fact that there's no place to cool off unless you get in the water is one thing. No sprinklers no splash places nothing like that. Then there's the small slides for younger kids which don't have water on them so you have to throw a bucket of water on it before your child can slide down. Then I got into the lazy river which is usually my favorite thing. When I got in there was a million bugs and leaves and other things floating. I thought maybe it was just a little patch of stuff so I stood still waiting for it to pass me by. However, to my surprise the entire laser River is filled with bugs and flies and leaves etc. It was absolutely gross. Then I took my youngest grandson to the shallow water area and in the corner floating on the water was a giant floating pile of sludge. Funny thing is there was a little net right there by it so I scooped it out. But 15 minutes later there was more. It's not any place I will ever return to. Luckily we found an incredible water park for $9 a person at the Lions club park in Killeen. No membership required, all the slides head water, lots of sprinklers throwing water in the air for those of us who just want to cool off a little bit and not submerge. Everything about it was superior.

We love Summer Fun! We’ve been going there since 2020 and my kids think it’s the best. The water is cold but that’s a GREAT thing in this Texas heat. The lifeguards are sweethearts and good at their job. Concession prices are pretty reasonable. Price for the whole day is less than I’d spend for the movies or an hour or two at the bowling alley. Overall a great summer choice!
