Huge disappointment!!! Go to any other waterpark before coming here. We been looking foward to coming here once we found they were going to open up again with new management, and we're hugely let down. Let's start with i payed $50 per ticket (once they add their other fees 4 ticket ran $221.) And when we arrived we were charged another 5 dollars to park because we not season holders. Had to rent 2 lockers for $16 a piece for medium locker that were rather small. Get in park finialy to descover the 4 main slides that were the reason for us making the trip here only 2 were up and running and 2 that were running were not all operational. I will say the life guards and the park employees for most part were alsome untill we got something to eat and there most employees were in a bad mood, also we paid $46 for 3 burgers and 3 fries. They had a sign for chicken sandwiches so waiting in line just to descover they in fact didnt have chicken sandwiches despite the signs everywhere saying they did. Went to another spot to get our 4th person atlest chicken strips and they 1st gave us 2 strips for $12. I should really call it nuggets they lady that took my money did tell they guy he needed to put another strip in plate because the size of them. And he acted like he was ask to give me his kidney. At this point I was so frustrated with everything. If your going to have you customers pay full price than we going expect the park to be fully open, not half the slides closed. The lest they could do is give discount. And yes you go online and buy to save a few dollars but I wanted to make sure the weather wouldn't rain us out so I bought the tickets the night before and tickets went for 48.99 than add there fees so I still paid the full amout. We plan go 2 day in a row and now im so glade I waited to buy the next day tickets. I was going try to salvage the trip and we go to gulf port water park but then realized they ran by same company and will not make that mistake again. I plain to warn all my clients to stay far away from this park, and hope I can keep them from having their family trip ruin like ours was. Especially being this trip was plan just to go to this hugh disappointment. Oh and 2 of my sons got hurt because another customer stayed in the slide and no one at the park stoped it or even check on them. The life gaurd at top of the slide must been the customers friend as he allow him skip people in the line. And the customer was allow to stay in park despite several customers complaining. So when rain move in at 2 30 we just left we were still at the park when I decided to do this review that how poorly this trip was every time I think im done complaining I have edit my review because we remember one more thing that made this park so not worth it they shouldn't be allow to operate if they cant get more right than wrong and dont advertising slides you have if they not able to be used. So upset they made my sons one trip for summer ruined. Please parents dont go, unless you want to see the disappointment on your kids faces, especially if your not a family that goes on trips all the time and want the ones your able to do be remember in good way

We went approx 1 months following the reopening and I was blown away. I had five 13 year old boys with me for my son's birthday celebration and was intimidated running behind them all over the place. 1. This has to be the cleanest water park ive ever been to. There had to be what felt like 200 employees walking around the whole day. If an employee didnt have one of those giant life saving float things in their hands then they had a pool skimmer in their hands cleaning. There was even dedicated table cleaners that were constantly cleaning the tables and same for the bathrooms. 2. All of those employees wore whistles and micromanaged all behavior from tiny 2 year olds up to grown adults. It was great! There was a fella there whose only job was to assist with the lockers which for goofy people like me was a life saver. The lockers use a code or facial recognition. Although myself and a few other people could not get the code part to work on the section of lockers we were using but the facial recognition worked perfectly. You can only have 1 locker per person so we had to use a couple of my crews faces for multiple lockers which was kind of a pain with myself the adult not being able to get into all the kids lockers when i needed to be able to but we survived. The lockers were $16 per locker. The food is not great and is expensive but i cant say its out of this world expensive. We were there from 10 a.m to 5 p.m so we got a few bottled drinks (4 i believe), 6 chicken strip meals and 6 dip n dots which totaled around $200. The 6 chicken strip meals alone was $108. The individual price per chicken basket is crazy but it was plenty of food for being at a water park where you really dont want to eat too much. So really an all day affair and $200 was spent on extras for the whole day isnt terrible. The rides were ok, the same rides they have been for decades. The boys had a blast but did mention a few times that they were getting bored running around to the same 6 rides over and over. But they filled their time with the wave pool, lazy river and even the bigger splash pad. Our tickets to enter with tax was $403 for 6 of us. I did not buy tickets online as it was 70% chance of rain that day and I wasn't sure how the park operated under that or if they would even open. They did open and just monitored the weather. When it would start thundering or lightning they would shut things down and send everyone to cover to wait it out. I think thats it and we will definitely be going back. So happy with Blue Bayou!

We had a great experience at Blue Bayou. Staff was friendly. It was not busy when we went at 10 am on Tuesday. Lots of areas for younger children and for older kids and kids at heart. Definitely recommend the season pass, it's worth the money. Free, unlimited water and soft drinks is a fantastic upgrade. I've never seen that anywhere else!

The tickets were a good price. We went on a Thursday. The food was fairly priced as well. We spent $60 on food for 3 people (1 adult, 2 kids ages 7 and 11) (2 burgers, 2 serving of fries, 2 cups of ice cream and 2 bottles of water) The burger was good and the fries were cold but it was somehow still good as well. The park was clean and the water was clear throughout the whole park. The kids liked Blue Bayou better than Great Wolf Lodge and Tropic Falls. So glad they have new owners. We will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went two days in a row, and can say we had a blast. Almost every ride was open, on the second day the Voodoo was being worked on (understandable). The staff was super friendly and the manager, Nathan went out of his way to make sure our son wouldn’t miss out on any fun bc of the rain. The only complaint I have is the price on lockers, and the bathrooms. Wish they had a bathroom on the other side the park in case littles have to go. Also some toilets were backing up in the girls room. One other small suggestion is I wish they had hooks in the shower/ changing areas for bags. Other than that super happy to have the park back open and eager to see the changes that are still to come 🙂

As a kid/teenager I would go to blue bayou and it was always fun, but seriously overcrowded and people were loud and rowdy and it kind of turned into a dump. Then it shut down for years and this year it reopened. Since the reopening, it is SO NICE! We've been two days in a row and it hasn't been crowded, there's been virtually no wait time in the lines, and everything is much cleaner than it used to be. Im very impressed with how it is now, and im so happy that my own kids get to experience something I did as a kid. 10/10 recommend!! Oh! Also. I love that they've made drinks free. There's multiple stands set up with cups and fountain machines and you just walk up and get your drink. Its included in your entry price and I think thats a wonderful business model. One more thing, I highly recommend getting a season pass. It's much cheaper that way instead of paying every time you go.

Great experience for the 2026 season! Tickets were easy to purchase & upgrade upon leaving. Free fountain drinks were great to have. The locker system was pretty to use once you get the hang of it. Our kids had a blast and we enjoyed ourselves. The water wasn’t gross and brown like a Facebook post we saw. Everything was pretty clean especially in the morning. Once the crowd rolled unfortunately people got messy with things. Workers were nice and helpful. First aid was easy to access and kind. We upgraded to season passes and will be back! So fun to have blue bayou open again! My only suggestion is making it mandatory people submit the waver when they purchase. This may help alleviate some congestion and confusion upon entering the park.

We are loving Blue Bayou Waterpark since it reopened. Just good and safe family fun for everyone. Lots of friendly staff and lifeguards. Clean pools and clean grounds. We got the season pass and can't believe the deal! Hoping they continue to add more food options.
