There’s so many incredible things here, you could go on and on. From the mountain man experience to the Emu and water buffaloes, the cattle really just all the different animals. It’s fascinating learning about the history of the place. My favorite part was the museum. The playground was cute for the kiddos. The Lookout was nice as well!

We had an amazing time at Woolaroc, especially during Kidsfest! The kids absolutely loved the inflatables, horse rides, and getting to see such a wonderful variety of animals. On top of the outdoor fun, the world-class museum is truly awesome and packed with incredible history. With 3,700 acres of beautiful wildlife preserve, hiking trails, and a historic lodge, there is genuinely something here for everyone. It is a unique, under-discovered treasure just 45 minutes north of Tulsa. We will definitely be back!

Woolaroc is a gem. Whether you're admiring the rolling green hills of the property, visiting the unique museum with beautiful period artwork (along with a few surprises: shrunken heads!), or seeing the animals (free range animals and a petting zoo). There's a lot to explore!

We recently visited Woolaroc's Wonderland of Lights and there was much fun to be had for the entire family. The event is from 5:30PM-9PM. Cars line up at the entryway before the gates even open. Since it is dark, you're not able to view any of the wildlife on the reserve but that's understandable for the winter season anyways. There are several activities around the grounds to do such as: visiting the museum, taking photos with Santa and Mrs. Clause (lobby of museum), going to the Petting Zoo, riding in the hayride (pick-up is outside the barn of petting zoo), and so much more. I will suggest from personal experience to go on the hayride first then to the museum for photos of Santa afterwards as the lines will typically be shorter in that order. In the year's I have attended, I've noticed people going to visit Santa first and exploring the museum so the noise and crowds can become overwhelming indoors. If you do the hayride and petting zoo first, it gives time for the museum to clear out. On the years I haven't done the hayride first, the line has taken 45mins-1 hour to get on and depending on weather it may be freezing outside. So trust me when I say to go in reverse order! Hayride then photos with Santa. I, however, do not recommend going to the cafe for concessions or to the cabin for hot chocolate and cookies as those lines can be long as well... there's just so much to do that if you spend your time in line here, you'll miss out on everything else. But to each their own. It's not my family's preference though. Every year it's the been the same, overly packed jammed full. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Woolaroc during the holiday season. There will be a crowd no matter the day you attend over the weekend but it is still well worth the experience!

Great for all age's. Really enjoyed learning the history behind Frank Phillips and his family. My favorite part was learning about the history of all the Native Indians. So much to look at. Not very expensive, for how much there is to explore. Seeing all animals as you're driving to the museum is so fun.

Beautiful visitz! Amazing collection of art and all things Native American. All the animals were out as we drove in. The cafe has wonderful food. I definitely would recommend the Bison chilli!

Very nicely taken care of grounds and animals. Wish we would have had more time for the museum.

Woolaroc Museum in Oklahoma is a wonderful stop for visitors of all ages. The museum features an impressive collection gathered by Frank Phillips, founder of Phillips 66, including Western art, Native American artifacts, firearms, and historical exhibits. The setting itself is beautiful, with scenic grounds and wildlife, making it more than just a museum visit. It’s an easy place to spend a few relaxed hours and a great addition to any trip in the area.
