Spent so many hours at this aquarium - the exhibits are well arranged and very well maintained. There is an abundance of fish, an Amazon rainforest with birds and two sloths, dolphins, sharks seating so you can enjoy the tanks and very informative displays. We've been to quite a few aquariums and this may be our fave. Went on a Saturday so it was a little crowded but still a very enjoyable experience.

This place is worth the money even though the initial charge seems high per person it more than makes up for it. There is 4 levels covering almost every kind of water there is on earth, an amazing jungle section with sloths and birds, even a huge dolphin section that allows some.interactions and live viewing of their training and the dolphins play time! The cafe is about what you expected for any place like this but that is the least of the fun. The last section walking down the 4 teir ramps they have show off some amazing views of groupers, mora eel, sandtiger sharks, nurse sharks, and hug sting rays. Take your time as these all can be taken in and are worth the crowds you might encounter! Staff was always friendly, helpful and great with kids and all the questions they throw at them.

My family and I visited from out of state. We really enjoyed the aquarium, as well as the dolphin tour. My children were so happy and said numerous times of how they were having so much fun! We parked in a pay to park garage and was able to walk and grab lunch after visiting the aquarium. We will definitely be returning!

We had such a nice time at the National Aquarium. Everything was clean and beautiful, and the exhibits were really amazing to see. You can tell a lot of care goes into the place. The staff were kind and seemed like they actually enjoy being there, which made the visit even better. The facilities were clean, the cafe was comfortable and easy to order from, and there was a good variety. The gift shop was also sweet with cute souvenirs. Overall, we had a blast and made some really nice memories.

The Baltimore National Aquarium has been one of my favorite places to visit ever since my first trip as a little kid in the early 90s. It's incredible how much it has grown over the years, and how much has been done for the health of the harbor. The "adults only" nights that the Baltimore Aquarium hosts every now and then are super chill, relatively quiet, and there are drinks to sip on if you want (non-alcoholic and alcoholic). I'm pretty sure drinks were prohibited in certain sections, but it wasn't an issue at all. Being able to take my time and view each of the exhibits in their entirety without the normal chaos was such a great experience, and I will definitely go to the next one.

Really enjoyed the layout of the aquarium. 5 levels able to see the ocean from bottom to top. Pictures explain what is in each. Nice view as well from there on the city. Had some exhibits that had nothing in them. Enjoyed the birds. I was able to see many different ones. Overall a nice experience, and I feel worth the money.

A visit to the National Aquarium in Baltimore is easily one of the most memorable experiences in the Inner Harbor and absolutely worth it. From the moment you walk in, the layout pulls you through a series of immersive ecosystems rather than just rows of tanks. The multi level design keeps things engaging, and every exhibit feels intentional and well curated. The tropical rainforest exhibit is a standout. It is warm, humid, and filled with free flying birds and lush greenery, and it genuinely feels like stepping into another environment. The Blacktip Reef and shark exhibits are equally impressive, with massive viewing windows that give you a front row perspective of sharks, rays, and schools of vibrant fish moving together in a way that is almost hypnotic. The jellyfish gallery is another highlight. It is simple, elegant, and surprisingly calming. What really sets this aquarium apart is how clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed everything is. It never feels overcrowded or chaotic, even when it is busy. Staff throughout the exhibits are knowledgeable and approachable, adding depth to the experience if you want to learn more. Whether you are going as a couple, with family, or even solo, it strikes a great balance between education and pure enjoyment. Plan to spend at least a few hours because you will want the time to take it all in. Overall, this is one of the best aquariums in the country. It is engaging, beautifully maintained, and absolutely worth a visit if you are anywhere near Baltimore.
