I would strongly advise prospective patients to look elsewhere. I originally chose this office because of its positive reviews and convenient location. At the time, I was already undergoing Invisalign treatment and had recently been evaluated by multiple dental professionals, including orthodontists. During my visit, I was told that the roots of my teeth were severely compromised and that I was at risk of losing my teeth. This was an alarming diagnosis that did not align with what I had been told by any other dentist or orthodontist. Given the seriousness of the claim, I sought additional opinions, and no other provider confirmed what I was told at this office. As a result, I lost confidence in the practice and never returned. The experience felt unnecessarily frightening and left me questioning the accuracy of the diagnosis. Afterward, I looked at other reviews and found that I was not the only patient who felt uncomfortable with treatment recommendations or billing practices. While I can only speak to my own experience, seeing similar concerns from others reinforced my decision not to return. What has been particularly frustrating is that years later, despite never going back, I continue to receive repeated calls encouraging me to schedule appointments. The persistent outreach has only added to my negative impression of the practice. If you have already received a serious or alarming diagnosis from this office, I strongly recommend obtaining a second opinion before proceeding with treatment. As for prospective patients, based on my experience, I would recommend choosing a different dental practice altogether.

I came for free dental and it was a very pleasant experience. I am afraid of the dentist and from the moment you schedule the appointment to the moment you leave the office was amazing!!. Gleribel did an amazing cleaning, Myna was so patient with me when she was taking the X-rays and scan with me. Jenifer was so helpful and provided all the information I need to make my next appointments. Thank you Steinway Family Dental Center!

Dr. William Dayanayev and Dr. Aleksandr Dayanayev are truly AMAZING. My mom (Maria) had a dental emergency with a serious tooth infection that required an extraction, and even as a walk-in, they took incredible care of her from the moment she arrived. She has an extensive medical history, and the team made sure to carefully review everything and take all the necessary precautions before beginning any treatment. That level of attention and professionalism gave us so much peace of mind. Jennifer, the coordinator and biller, was outstanding so patient and helpful. She worked with my family to create a manageable payment plan and went above and beyond by assisting with translation, as my mom is Spanish-speaking. Every single person in the team (wish I can name every one) my mom has encountered in the office has been kind, compassionate, and attentive. I had the chance to meet the team myself this past Sunday while my mom continues her treatment, and I now fully understand why she feels so comfortable there. Thank you to everyone at Steinway Family Dental Center, I am incredibly grateful for the care and support you’ve shown my mom.

The experience was phenomenal, they used laser for my fillings and it was quick and easy. The staff was very helpful and informative. Dr. Dayanayev had great bedside manner.

I visited yesterday for a dental consultation to collect a second opinion. Although I cannot afford their treatment (insurance reasons), the level of care and professionalism was very refreshing. The office is very thorough and well-organized. Highly recommend dentist Aleksandr Dayanayev, he did a great job explaining x-rays and walking through his findings. He's also very funny which is a plus!

I had a really great experience at Steinway Family Dental Center. My wife chipped her bottom front tooth and from the moment we walked in they were very helpful. Dr. Dayanayev is honestly one of the kindest dentists I’ve ever met — patient, gentle, and he took the time to explain everything so we felt comfortable the whole visit. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and supportive from the moment I walked in. They made what is usually a stressful appointment feel easy and welcoming. Highly recommend!

This was one of the worst dental experiences I have ever had. I left the office feeling pressured, misled, and extremely uncomfortable with the way treatment was presented to me. During my visit with Dr. William Dayanayev, I was told that I needed procedures that were made to sound urgent and necessary, including the removal of my wisdom tooth. I was also told that I had so much decay in the tooth that it could not be saved. On top of that, I was told that if I did not move forward with treatment, I could develop gum disease, infections, or more serious dental issues. The way this information was explained felt more like fear and pressure than honest medical guidance. Because the recommendations seemed excessive and alarming, I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist. After examining my teeth and gums, that dentist told me that everything looked fine and did not confirm the serious issues that were described to me. This made me even more concerned about the way my visit was handled. I also had concerns about the billing. The pricing was presented in a way that made it seem as though I did not have insurance, even though I explained that I did have insurance and that the office was in-network. When I questioned the charges, I was told it was because the work was being done “a special way,” which did not feel transparent or professional. Patients should be able to trust their dentist, especially when being advised to undergo major dental procedures. In my experience, Dr. Dayanayev was unprofessional, overly aggressive in pushing treatment, and used scare tactics that made the situation feel far worse than it actually was. After receiving a second opinion confirming that my teeth and gums were fine, I would not return to this office and would strongly recommend that anyone considering treatment here get a second opinion first.
