Amazing experience! Took my husband here as a surprise for his birthday, and we did the full zipline course. It was exhilarating, terrifying, and so fun! The guides were so helpful and personable. It was an amazing experience that I would do again and highly recommend!

Visitor notes
Seven of my family members and myself, with our ages spanning pre-teen to 60+, did the full zipline package. We had the time of our lives! Dewey and Elise were great leaders for our group - they were patient, had lots of interesting info about ziplining, and put safety first. It was a great activity for extended family, as we all had time to chat as others took their turns zipping. The time literally flew! I wouldn't hesitate to come back and do this again or to recommend it to others. Pro tip: Buy your tickets in advance, together, to be sure the whole family is in the same time slot.
Owned by a local family, the Adventure Center of Asheville is close to downtown Asheville. Visiting North Carolina on a long weekend from Washington, D.C. in December, my family of three went for their 5th annual Winter Wonder Walk. Getting combo tickets, we started with the treetop glow trail on their high ropes course. Next, we visited a market of kid makers. Afterwards, we walked their story-walk trail about Jack Frost. The trail includes stops and actors. My eight-year-old daughter loved it! What a fun seasonal experience!
The guides were extremely nice and we had a trainee and supervisor with our small group so it made for a good experience. The zips weren’t amazing though and I found myself feeling disappointed at the end. Maybe if this was the first time we’ve ever zipped we’d have found it more enjoyable, but we’ve zipped several times prior and found this to be a bit easy with short and slow zip lines. If you are a first timer, this is a great place to get your first run in. If you’re more of an avid zipper or have even just done a few, this will feel disappointing, at least it did for me.
We had a great experience on the zip line tour. The staff were professional and safety conscientious. The zip lines were really fun, especially the long friend zip where you go alongside someone else. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and beautiful! I highly recommend!
I can’t say enough, how much I appreciate them. My family and I were running really late, and although we should have been canceled, they were able to accommodate us being an hour late (this is a case by case basis based on many factors). Although we still kept with our two hour time limit, they made sure we had a great time and utilized every minute to the Max. My four-year-old got scared at one point and they were wonderful getting her down. It was a really great experience!
My wife and I had the pleasure of going zip lining with just us and our guides Anna and Eliese. They were awesome! They were attentive, knowledgeable, and remembered our names after telling them once. They were both very nice to us and felt like friends by the end of our tour. Hoping the best for them both!
The Adventure Center of Asheville was such an excellent experience! My teenage son and I had an incredibly fun time and we were extremely happy that we decided to enjoy this experience together. The entire staff was not only very professional, helpful and friendly, but they also enhanced the adventure with their personal stories and infectious energy! The grounds and course are very well maintained and, coupled with the beautiful natural scenery, created such an esthetically pleasing environment. There was never a concern abouy safety throughout the entire experience due to the overwhelmingly meticulous precautions incorporated into every aspect. Even purchasing tickets online was very easy and user-friendly. We will absolutely return to enjoy The Adventure Center of Asheville experience again whenever we are in the area! I highly recommend this to all my family, friends, and anyone wanting to elevate the enjoyment they are seeking in the area. The Adventure Center is a pure gem in Asheville!
