Gallup Park

Was a wonderful walk! Part of it was a cedar chip walk but my son’s wheelchair went through it decently. Lots of different playgrounds, opportunities to get close to the water to fish, lots of wildlife. Would recommend walking, biking, even rollerblading! Bathrooms strategically placed which was super convenient. Can just do a loop or branch off into 2 separate trails. There were so many swans today! (Mid June)

Visited on an unusually hot and humid day. Hazy late afternoon walk down by the canoe livery was pleasant. Please remember to bring, and wear, your bug spray. A beautiful spot well worth the time!

I love this park, but this year, don't go without bug spray. I shot here all the time last year and never had any issues with ticks - but today we went for a walk there and we ended up with FIVE ticks between myself and my dog - we never even left the path 😭 beautiful park, well maintained, just praying they spray because pulling ticks was no fun today.

Absolutely love this park... They have a great trail that goes all the way around the lake... Lots of places for the kids to play... They have a livery...

Exceptional park with multiple entrances and exits, nicely integrated with "deep nature and quiet spaces."

This park is an unexpected gem! Trails are pristine, sufficiently wooded, and teeming with life. The path is wide enough for dog walkers, bike riders, and runners to share. There are more rugged trails offshooting throughout the main path, like side quests, that lead to all kinds of secret spots. Super easy hike, great for all ages; however, the paved portion ends near the public docks. The rest is finely mulched wood and leaves.

A terrific place for a beginner to learn how to navigate a kayak. The water current is mild and the overall facilities are well maintained.
