They call it the Great Allentown Fair for a reason. It lives up to the hype. So much to do. It's all food, fun and games with some great concerts offered throughout the week. Solid fair that should be part of your yearly fairs to attend. Great job.

Just got back from an amazing bridal show in Allentown! The setup was absolutely incredible, making it so easy to envision my special day. 🤩 The facilities and amenities were top-notch, truly on point. I met so many talented vendors, from stunning wedding cakes 🎂 to breathtaking floral arrangements 🌸. Seriously, if you're planning a wedding, you *have* to check out these shows! It's the perfect place to get inspired and find everything you need. #BridalShow #WeddingPlanning #Allentown #BridalInspo #WeddingIdeas #FutureMrs

This is a community event center and weekend farmers market. The food is good with great selection. Amish prepared foods. Along with several ethnic selections. The yearly fair is a great event with top tier entertainment. Games and rides along with great farm show. If you have not gone it is worth the trip.

After visiting the farmers market we enjoyed the Ritz for ice cream. Both places were very friendly. The food was plentiful and hot. We definitely recommend it.

The Farmer's Market in the Allentown Fairgrounds is spectacular!! Such fresh meats and vegetables, and gourmet cheeses, breads, and sweets! If I lived here, I'd be shopping here every weekend!

The other 50 weeks of the year in between Great Allentown Fairs there are trade shows and performances every weekend. But a permanent part of the health and enjoyment of the entire Lehigh Valley is the Farmers’ Market Thurs thru Sat. From the freshest fish, poultry, beef and pork to fresh vegetables and fresh fruit, fresh baked goods, and fresh prepared foods and salads and a full cafeteria menu of homemade hot meals. There are unique specialty shoppes offering, pickles, kiffels, wines, bulk snacks, candies, several stands of authentic international foods as well as vacuum cleaners, supplies and repair, local crafts and a hot lunch counter. Can you guess I’m in love with the Farmers’ Market? My mother took me there since I was 7yrs old and I’m almost 77. NIX BESSER!

The Great Allentown Fair is a fun eclectic crowded interesting feast for the eyes, ears, and nose!! Several free Shows to enjoy at the Fair including a crazy Stunt Man, juggler, Strong Man, Swimming Pigs; Animals and humans performing amazing feats!! The nightly concerts are expensive to see the once big time performers who now do the fair circuit. Sidewalks, and parking lots are never and great for tripping and ankle twisting. Restrooms are pretty disgusting and old. But it’s fun to see the animals, ribbon winners, rides and freaks. Don’t forget Free Fair admission one or two days each year. Check the website for details.

This was our first time to visit the Allentown Fairgrounds. What a fantastic plac. It has a little bit of everything. I went home with a bag of long leaf tea and my wife got us some doughnuts. Multiple vendors sell everything from BBQ, to fresh fruit to dried, from cookies to cakes and pies as well as many lesser known bottles soft drinks. There were at least one location offering local wine and another offering locally distilled spirits. A little for but for everyone.
