Matboard Plus

So grateful to Matboard Plus!! Their mats are lovely quality and literally 20% the price of what I was quoted at the big corporate art store in town. They were so kind and helpful when I made my custom order. I’m really glad to have a local place to support that is affordable and does a fantastic job. Thank you guys.

We ordered three black mat boards (single mat design; three openings each) to frame some decorative national park post cards on the cabinet doors inside our trailer. David at Matboard Plus worked with us to get just what we needed and they look great. They make the post cards "pop" and really enhance the interior look of our trailer. Just wow! Great prices on museum quality mats. Easy custom dimensions. Fast shipping. Gorgeous product. Best part, the customer service. I entered the outside dimensions wrong and placed the order before realizing my mistake. I sent an email with correct dimensions and let them know I understood the price would be more. They adjusted the price, corrected my mistake.

I just made my first order with them for my dad. He's an artist and is out of town right now, so I've been doing the matting and such while he's away. Not only have I been happy with the products we've gotten in the past, but my ordering experience today was flawless. I called in and spoke to David who helped me out. He got it all settled, even when I had some questions about specifications. He was able to advise me based on previous orders, which was really helpful. Great quality at value prices! I ordered 4 customized standard mats and they shipped within a day! I paired the mats with some simple black frames from a big box retailer and they look great! I will definitely use them again for any future matting needs!

Customer service went above and beyond -- I got a phone call to make sure my dimensions/measurements were accurate, and we made some useful adjustments! I wasn't expecting that from an online company. All the mats fit my frames, and look really good for my purposes. A truly 5-star service! I will reorder soon from them. It's worth making a multiple order for shipping.

I had a little trouble configuring my order but that's on me I guess. The second order in my cart I didn't have an issue with. Not sure why. Shipping was fairly quick and packaging was great. The product quality was very nice but I'm not a professional framer. Matting is expensive! I can't say I shopped around much to compare prices and I will. I got what I wanted from Matboard Plus but I have a lot of prints to frame so i have to slow down because unfortunately my taste is expensive.
