A must see when going to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It is like stepping back into time! A lot to see, good parking, and doesn’t cost anything to visit. On the weekends (during the season) they have actors dressed up like the olden days and plenty of livestock to see. Such a beautiful stop along the trail.

Visitor notes
Beautiful old farm, still working with old crafts such as pottery, glass making, blacksmithing; we saw sheep and a cow, and the out buildings on the property. Great gift shop selling the things they make. Very fun place for school age kids to see how "it used to be!"
Gorgeous fall day to visit and imagine walking in another era. Plenty to see and do, with a whole village to explore and interactive learning for adults and children. Pretty easy walking and level paths for wagons and wheels. Big visitor center had 21st century comforts, hot food, and a large gift shop. It’s a little off the beaten path but worth the GPS-led trip!
A large piace of agricultural history still working by educating each generation. What a fabulous place to visit. So many things to see. Get ready to learn things you may have never known. Always clean and friendly. Parking. Access. Such a beautiful setting.
This place is a must stop! From amazing scenery. To horse and buggy rides. Glass blowing, Apple butter, cider making, pottery, animals, ice cream. A little something for everyone. Plan on spending some time here and take lots of pictures.
We took our school here on a field trip and the children really enjoyed it. Most of the buildings are old and from northern Ohio, having been moved here for the exhibit. It is a well restored historical village with many different buildings to visit and several actors to watch. The favorite was the glass blowing demonstration. There is also a nice area with picnic tables Where you can enjoy a packed lunch. Beautiful setting, and a great way to spend a day.
The workers were very kind and helpful and really took their time explaining things to us. The woman working the loom let my son help with the demonstration which he loved. The general store worker was very knowledgeable and the man working on the clay wheel delayed taking his lunch so that he could show us a demonstration. My son has a new found love of clay because of him. I appreciate all the effort all the workers put in to keeping the place .
