Great place for kids! The staff is super friendly, and they have great pricing along with fun special events throughout the year. We usually go into Boston, but the Acton location is so much more convenient, no dealing with traffic or parking. There’s about 3 levels (the top level is smaller), plus a cute outdoor treehouse, slides, and other areas for kids to explore. Our 21 month old enjoyed it very much! We’ll definitely be back!

Great children's museum. My kids are a little older --9 & 11--and still had plenty of fun and things to discover. We arrived at 11:30 and stayed about 3 hours, and that seemed perfect. The field trip groups were clearing out and most other people were having lunch so there were no crowds. Staff was engaging with kids, offering extra information or suggestions for ways to interact with the exhibits, and I saw frequent tidying and cleaning. The outdoor play areas were an especially big hit!

Fun place. We’ve been on the weekends and it’s very busy. I usually get a library pass for the weekday and it’s more enjoyable. We started taking our toddler when she turned a year and could walk and she’s almost 3 now and loves each visit. You can bring food but have to eat in designated areas. Usually fine but in the colder months spots are limited and the outdoor tables are put away. Right off the highway. Lots of parking. I always go first two hours before it gets too busy.

This was my final visit. I've been coming here for a few years but after this past visit I no longer feel comfortable here. The only kind employees were at the check in desk when you purchase your entry ticket. All other employees we interacted with were condescending. The employees at each station clearly don't know how to talk to young children or interact with them. It was awkward moving about, we kept to ourselves and made sure anything we played with or used was put back. I don't do well with snob behavior or acting uppity. I left after we played outside and I'm all set.

Great place to take the kids. Recommend for families with little ones upto 8-9 years old. Personal favorites are the water room (smock provided) and the drawing table. You take home an inertia drawing that your children create, so fun!

Absolutely lived this visit. So many activities that kept the boys tuned in and I was shocked at how long they stayed at some of the stations. Learned a lot of stuff myself as an adult. Went on a public holiday and was lucky to get there with enough time that we made it in. There is a shuttle for parking if you cannot park in the parking lot which was super convenient. I think the price for the activities and amount you can spend at the museum is really great. The only thing we didn't visit was the water area but I know we'll be going back in the summer time. The staff was so nice and felt really safe with the kids there.

This place is great. I am on grandchild number 3 and have been coming here for over 10 years. They have daily school field trips who visit between 10am - 12pm so it can very crowded. It is a much nicer experience if you wait until the afternoon. All three of the grandkids have enjoyed coming here and I have yearly family membership, which I highly recommend.
