My experience with Damas Turk Real Estate Mediator has been profoundly disappointing. My cousin, Abdulla Al-Mutlaq, engaged their services to purchase an apartment at the AKKENT project for $145,000. Despite assurances of timely updates, we endured a frustrating two-year wait without any progress reports.
Recently, when we approached Damas Turk for information on the property, we were informed that they had terminated their association with AKKENT and disclaimed any further responsibility. Their suggestion was to seek legal representation, leaving us feeling abandoned and without recourse.
This lack of accountability is deeply concerning. As consumers, we expect transparency and commitment from real estate mediators, neither of which was demonstrated by Damas Turk in this instance.
I strongly caution potential clients against entrusting their real estate transactions to Damas Turk. Their apparent disregard for client welfare and abrupt termination of services without resolution are clear indicators of their unreliability.
In light of these circumstances, we are pursuing legal action against both Damas Turk and AKKENT. It is regrettable that such measures are necessary, but we are left with no alternative after this disappointing experience.
