National Liberal Club

Visited the NLC with friends for lunch. The clubs entrance is quite discreet and we walked by without seeing it. The club has excellant views of the Thames and is in a convenient location for meeting with friends. The meal was fine and did have Christmas fare.

We held a conference at the National Liberal Club, and the experience was excellent. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly throughout the event. The Club has a wonderful atmosphere — elegant, historic, and full of character. You can truly feel its rich heritage in every corner. It’s an inspiring place to host professional gatherings, combining tradition with a welcoming spirit. Highly recommended.

One of the oldest clubs in the area with a wonderful terrace that during the summer is great. They provided a champagne bar and they have a delicious restaurant, this curved staircase is grand and the interiors is of a lost generation due to its eye of details. If you are lucky enough to know a member it's well worth going to. Staff are very professional and friendly.

A private members club in Whitehall. Club membership or a reciprocal membership required to get in. A beautiful building which never fails to impress. The bar and lounge area on the first floor is stunning with architectural features and intimate lighting. A roof terrace overlooking the Thames is a great place to sit in the summer above the hustle of the city. A library and lounge area are available with comfortable and secluded seating to relax or meet with friends.

This serene outdoor space offers stunning views towards the London Eye and Southbank. The elegant dining rooms provide a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for both casual meals and formal occasions. Whether you're enjoying a traditional afternoon tea, a light lunch, or a full-course dinner, the quality of the food is consistently excellent. The service is top-notch! The Cheese soufflé is my favorite!!!!! 🤤🤤🤤

Visited Tues 2nd December with a Member. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Lovely historic building right by Embankment. Food and service was exceptional too. Area to sit and log in with laptops and take Teams calls too.

Great venue for events or just for dinner. As is a membership club it's quite hard to get in but try your best so you can enjoy this experience. The terrace has an amazing view to London's Eye, one of biggest attractions of London. The Christmas tree is huge this year and so cute. I was attending a party so had this great chance to taste some great wines and cocktails. Hope to get back one day and try the restaurant menu as well.

Opulent settings. Conveniently located near embankment. Toilets a bit of a trek up a narrow staircase. Sandwich lunch rather boring. Lovely view off the terrace. Can imagine it's wonderful out there in summer.
