Provender Restaurant

On our recent visit, we had mixed feelings. The mushroom soup was nice and the French soup was also good. However, the main courses were not satisfactory and did not meet our expectations for the price paid. All the sauces were quite salty. Service was slow and overall average.

Definitely worth the visit for lunch, fantastic selection of French cuisine. Every dish I tried had an air of quality and flavours were superb. I tried the gazpacho soup as a starter which was a great balance of spice and tomato flavour. Also tried the lamb and rabbit both melt in mouth good especially the rabbit. Topped off with a creme brulee which was as good as I have tasted. Service was good, welcoming and helpful whilst efficient a very relaxing visit.

I wanted to send a note of thanks to the staff at Provender. We recently celebrated my mum’s 60th birthday with a small dinner, but I really wanted to make sure she felt special. I left a note in the booking page to mention it was a big birthday for her. She was delighted when a lovely dessert came out unexpectedly for her, with “happy birthday” written in chocolate! Thank you for making her day - it means a lot.

We had a brief layover and needed to quickly find a restaurant with an open reservation. We love French food and were happy to dine here. I had the best Kir Royale of my life and we split French onion soup, salad and ordered roasted chicken and the filet. They were so accommodating with requests and allergies and really went out of their way. It was one of the best meals we had in London.

Absolutely incredible experience at Provender. The service is unmatched and the staff are friendly and willing to explain the menu happily. The food is as authentically French as you can get. I would highly recommend the scallop starter and beef wellington. The duck special was also lovely and fresh. Can’t wait to visit again!

We were unfortunately delayed but having called the restaurant they were very accommodating with us arriving very near to closing time. The service was excellent extremely friendly and we were not hurried. Menu choices varied and appealing. Escargots, coq au vin and creme brûlée superb. Good wine selection. Excellent value. Will definitely be returning. Thank you.

I’d come back! Food was delicious, we had starter, main and dessert! service was just right and well explained. Atmosphere was good. It does seem a bit small but actually everything went smoothly and didn’t have any complaints..

We’ve had a fantastic birthday celebration of a 90years lady, as a group of 8. Wonderful cuisine, presentation and service 🫶🏻 My first time in the Provender, but surely not the last time. Would recommend the iron steak or choice of fish of the day.
