Tarshish

An upscale Turkish restaurant run by the owners of Gokyuzu. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cosy décor and a pleasant vibe. Service was friendly and welcoming. The food was decent, nothing extraordinary, but enjoyable nonetheless. Prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. Would I go back? Probably yes, only if they add some unique Turkish dishes to the menu.

I recently visited Tarshish to view the venue for a birthday booking, and I have to say, the experience exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in. The space itself is beautifulstylish, well laid out, and perfect for hosting a special event. What really made the visit memorable, though, was what happened after the viewing. I decided to stay for a drink, and I’m so glad I did. I was served by Raj, the bartender, who was not only welcoming and attentive but clearly passionate about what he does. He recommended and made me a Lychee Margarita, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had perfectly balanced, refreshing, and just the right level of sweetness. The atmosphere, the service, and that standout cocktail completely sold me. If you’re considering Tarshish for an event or even just a night out, I’d definitely recommend it. I’ll absolutely be back next time with a full celebration in tow!

I loved eating here with friends. The lamb chops were *chef’s kiss*, and Raj, the bartender, was so sweet and made great drinks. My friends and I had the pink ones in the shot glasses, and the blue one was someone else’s drink but it was so pretty! I would definitely love to go back and try other things on the menu.

Very good restaurant. Perfect for birthday dinners with friends and loved ones. Not busy on a Monday night, practically had the restaurant to ourselves. Atmosphere was nice, food was nice and the service was amazing. Had our drinks served by Raj and he was a fabulous bartender. His cocktails were perfectly sweet and strong. Will definitely be coming back here!

Fantastic service, delicious food and calm atmosphere. Would I return again? Yes, but not so soon as there are other places with similar food around the same area which I would like to try too.

Had a takeaway. Shish cops with rich. The food was lovely, but no extra pitta was supplied. The salad was nice and chips were good. Rcommeded is you can do stairs and pay £30.00 foe a kebab.

I went here for my friend's engagement dinner and was very impressed. The menu had a decent selection to choose from and was very high quality. I really enjoyed the butterfly sea bass. The drink menu was good though a bit limited but the host Raj made me a special rum. The venue was high standards and very comfortable. Definitely recommend!

We went on a Wednesday evening, everyone was so nice to us, specially Kamila, who was our server for the day. She made an excellent recommendation for the main dish, the Lamb Shish and it was unbelievable. Great place to go to for a nice dinner.
