The BEST Persian restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life! It was beautifully decorated with a gothic theme, soft lighting and an overall eclectic atmosphere. The hostess Mandana was the best!! She was so warm and accommodating! The food portions were ample and just delicious! The desserts are worth stuffing yourself to oblivion! It was a very memorable and authentic experience. Highly recommended!

First time visiting. Fancied a change from curry and so glad we made this decision. Stunning. Everything fresh and cooked perfectly. We got the humus starter and mixed grill with salad and rice. Fab portions. We were stuffed! Excellent service and good value. Will definitely be back thank you

I used to order the Dizi from this restaurant, and it was always delicious. Unfortunately, my recent experience was very disappointing. There was no lemon, the soup had no flavor, the lamb was not cooked properly, and the chickpeas were still hard and undercooked. The quality has really gone down compared to before. I hope they improve because this used to be one of my favorite places.

We came all the way from Edinburgh, Scotland because we heard good things. We were not disappointed. The food here is like in restaurants all over Iran, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server Mandana khanoum was the best too making suggestions and making sure we’re having a good time. Thank you, will be back!

Enjoyed a great lunchtime meal here on a busy Saturday. Service was great and the food delicious, pricing very reasonable. The only small criticism I have was the Shirazi salad which wasn't authentic - it was just chopped tomato. cucumber and onion with no detectable seasoning

Walnut Persian Restaurant is a top spot for serving up delicious Iranian cuisine! Their Mixed Grill Platter, a selection of grilled meats including lamb chops, chicken, & kobeda, served with rice, beans, & a small salad was absolutely mouthwatering & full of authentic flavours. The Lamb Shank, my personal favourite, is also a standout dish, cooked to tender perfection & served with saffron rice & barberries, adding that sweet & tangy flavor. Portions are also very generous!

Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the balance of taste and texture was just perfect. The menu has a great variety, offering something for everyone, and the portions were generous without losing elegance. The ambiance is modern yet cozy, making it a great spot for both a relaxed dinner with friends and a special night out. Overall, Walnut Restaurant is a real gem in Manchester — fantastic food, exceptional service, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to go back!
