Absolutely brilliant service from Popup Bikes in Manchester. Took my bike in for a service and clean, and I honestly couldn’t believe the difference when I got it back. It looked brand new and rides better than it ever has. The team clearly know their stuff and took great care with everything. Friendly, professional and really reasonably priced for the quality of work. It’s great to find a local bike shop that genuinely goes the extra mile. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Popup Bikes to anyone needing a service or repair. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks again!

Visitor notes
I had a really positive experience at Popup Bikes. The owner was extremely kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. They helped pump up my bike tyres properly and installed the lights, and now my bike feels safe and ready to ride again. What stood out most was the friendly attitude and care — no rushing, no pressure, just honest and thoughtful service. It genuinely made my day. Thank you so much to the owner of Popup Bikes. I really appreciate the help and would happily recommend this place to others.
I dropped off a Trek Madone SLR for a few bits and bobs that needed sorting and Prakash happily took on the job. He was polite and friendly over the phone when I initially enquired, and agreed to offer a quick turnaround at short notice which I really appreciated. When I collected the bike he was again very welcoming, and it was crystal clear he had shown great attention to detail working on it, which made me feel super confident the bike was set up perfectly. I provided a list of things I wanted doing and everything was throughly attended to. The shop itself was a nice big open space, and I love the fact there’s a coffee area and chill space - it just makes it a really nice relaxed vibe in comparison to some “cold” bike shops I’ve visited. Overall, I had a great experience with these guys and would recommend them, especially if you have a high end bike and want it given the respect it deserves. Thanks guys & see you again soon! 🚲
I'd previously been to the other property as I was interested in getting a bike. Seemingly reasonable price ( I know nothing about bikes but the man was extremely helpful!) I didn't even realise they had moved locations until I recognised the seller. I got a free coffee here on opening day and the barista behind the bar were working hard as it was extremely busy however they were knowledgeable and friendly. They had almond and oat milk and made an absolutely phenomenal coffee! The coffee would have been LESS than 3 pounds - if I had to pay. I really believe this shop will be a great community addition and I hope they do well! (Also they're dog friendly)
Phoned up the shop and Prak booked my bike in the next day. Fantastic service giving my bike the once over as it had not been used for a while. Incredibly knowledgeable and gave me some tips for keeping it in good condition. Highly recommended if, like me, you work in the city centre and need to drop off before work and collect after. Can even get a touch of breakfast! Only place I would use going forward.
ChatGPT took me here and I've got to say, they're a really friendly bunch! The gentleman who looked at my bike offered speedy, comprehensive advice with a smile and to top it all off, they sell excellent coffee and reasonably priced toasties! Worth mentioning also that whilst you sit and enjoy a snack or drink, they have plenty of space for you to store your bike, giving you full peace of mind. I will 100% be bringing my bike here when it's due for a service 🚲😊
Took a rusted, mud, muck and road battered Brompton at 7 o’clock at night and had it gleaming and ready to go again including a gear shifter change and full clean by the next day. Excellent service and incredibly friendly as always!
Incredible, fantastic staff that have a great understanding of not just the bikes, but also the budget and needs of the customer. Other places you may end up with a laundry list of things that need replacing or fixing that can end up costing more than the bike itself, but here they're honest and won't try and sell you anything the bike doesn't actually need need. The diagnostic service was comprehensive and didn't cost a penny, even though several things were tweaked or optimised. You couldn't ask for better service. If my bike needs something and is in ridable condition, I'll head here instead of any of the other places in Manchester.
