Insomnia Cookies

I recently visited Insomnia Cookies in Manchester on the Saturday afternoon. I ordered a deluxe cookie box which was 2 of the Buenos cookies and 2 of the chocolate chunks cookies for me and my partner. However, when I arrived. The music was quite loud and difficult to hear what the staff where saying. So I had to repeat myself and ask multiple times what I wanted to order and to use the app points as well. When I sat down with the cookies, I was disappointed with the quality. I have included pictures of the cookies. They where dry. The chocolate chunks where extremely sweet and seemed to be undercooked and quite cold. I was Dissatisfied in the quality the way the cookies where given. Ive been many times before in the past with no issues until recently. It seems the quality has dropped which is a shame. As ive never had any complaints about the cookies until now.

Our favourite cookie place, went in to pick up a box today and Diana was an absolute sweetheart, from her customer service skills to her recommendations she did a brilliant job and was so lovely.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and perfect for celebrating. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel really looked after—nothing felt rushed, which made the whole experience even better. Now let’s talk about the cookies… the cookies was absolutely incredible. Cooked to perfection, juicy, full of flavour, and exactly how we asked for. Everything was fresh, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect place to celebrate my son’s 7th birthday, and they really helped make it feel special. First time coming, spotted it on the way to the museum just further down. Slightly over prices considering they are cookies but still tasty. We bought a Brookie, Bueno Cookie, Chocolate Cookie. Troy served us, very lovely and helpful. Was a nice touch for the cookies to be warm. Definately a treat not an everyday item.

I stopped in during the afternoon rush, and even with things getting busy, Richie handled everything with calm, confidence, and genuine kindness. He greeted me with a smile, made me feel welcome right away, and somehow managed to make the whole shop feel lighter and friendlier. Richie helped me choose the best cookies for my mood, answered my questions with patience, and made sure my order was perfect before I left. You can really see his passion for good service — it’s rare to find someone who treats every customer like they matter. If you’re grabbing cookies in the afternoon, Richie is the one you want helping you. He turns a quick stop into a really lovely experience.

Tried this brand for the first time. Amazed, a wide range of cookies for someone feeling peckish, the cookies were tasty, you will meet your taste buds here, if you have a sugary craving then perfect. I recommend the ice cream sandwich vanilla and white chocolate. The milkshake I went for the red velvet, it could be improved unfortunately, it tasted more like an ice cream shake with large bits of cookie at the bottom which it cannot fit through the straw. Would be a returning customer for sure.

The cookies are okay. Not bad at all, just nothing amazing either. They also don't offer any milk alternatives, but luckily their americano was good, só I didn't muss the oat milk too much. The branding is cute though, but since it's only takeaway, all there is at the end of the day is cute packing you gonna throw away. Would recommend it only if you reeeaaally crave cookies, but in any other case I would say: go find a proper cafe and have a sweet treat there for the same price.
