I had a check up and hygiene visit yesterday. Zayed made me feel at ease during the check up. Ahmed was super helpful and patient to explain what a proper dental care routine should look like to improve my gum health. Thank you both!

Professional behavior, Friendly staff. But, Very poor workmanship with dentistry- Ended up having problems. I got a treatment done around 2021 as I was not able to consult other doctors during Covid. They charged me hefty for 3 fillings (including 1 root canal). 1. The story of the right tooth - 2 days after the class-2 cavity was repaired with a filling- I complained to the doctors saying the food is getting stuck. The cavity was only done well on the top. However the mid and lower part of the teeth still had gaps. They didn't do anything about it. was told its no issue and to use interdental brushes. Slowly, the food build up started getting too much in the right tooth. I was tired and frustrated by using the interdental brushes. Despite regularly using interdental brushes, the food build up was consistent and had increased. And after 4-5 years - In 2026, My teeth chipped due to the cavity and I consulted a doctor in my home country - India. The senior doctor looks at the work and was disappointed with the workmanship. He said if the original fillings for class-2 cavity were done well - My tooth could have been saved. Now - I had to undergo Root canal due to the patchy/shoddy work done by doctors at Arndale/Ocean dental. 2. The Substandard cap on left tooth - I underwent a Root canal treatment with Ocean dental for a lower left molar. The lower part of the cap chipped and there was constant food build up there as well. Upon examining by my Indian doctor - He mentioned that the cap quality was pretty average/okayish quality and was surprised when I told him I got it in UK. In just 4-5 years - My cap was a gone case and I had to get it replaced. Verdict: The doctors/staff talk to you well, do the treatment professionally. You will get relief for the problem you have. But, for complex Class-2 fillings and RCT - Their workmanship is very substandard - You could have issues in the longterm. Hence, do your homework. I had realized this after years of struggle with food stuck between my teeth, a damaged cap. And losing another precious molar to Root canal. (total avoidable - If the Ocean dental's doctors did a decent job with my class-2 filling). Hence, the 1 star (I should have given them -5 stars when they hushed my complaint of food getting stuck despite the filling and asked to keep using interdental brushes instead of doing the filling well)

I cannot stress enough that this is the ONLY dentist I’ve ever felt comfortable at. From the booking process to the in clinic experience I couldn’t fault a thing. The clinic is very easy to access and the staff are polite, helpful and friendly. I’ve used this dentist now multiple times for hygiene appointments and the way my teeth feel after is perfect! My teeth have always been my biggest insecurity, but the team here have helped me to overcome that. Would HIGHLY recommend to anybody thinking about starting your dental journey again.

I honestly can’t recommend this dental practice enough. The dentists — Dr Ikram, Dr Ray, Dr Zeyad and Dr Mahnoor — are all incredibly kind, caring and professional. They always take the time to explain everything clearly, never rush you, and genuinely care about their patients. The dental assistants are wonderful too — always supportive, reassuring and kind, which really helps make each visit feel calm and comfortable. A special mention to Annette on reception, who is absolutely amazing. She is so caring, helpful and welcoming, and nothing is ever too much trouble for her. The whole team create such a positive, supportive atmosphere. A truly outstanding practice.

I have been a patient at Ocean Dental Ltd for many years. This post refers to this morning's visit to the hygienist, as my dentist is also great. Jay, the hygienist, is excellent. He is very efficient and professional, but at the same time very down to earth and friendly. I have now known him for many years, and he is someone I really trust. His nurses are always very welcoming too. Furthermore, Annette, at the reception, is always very courteous and kind. All in all, a very good experience.

Double booked for me and my son but because I was travelling from work, to my appt, I asked my husband to bring my son and I will meet them there. They were there well ahead of time. The dentist was running late and therefore saw my son late too unfortunately because because I arrived 3 mins late, they decided not to see me, so that they can catch up with their time. The dentist then came out to the reception to chill whilst waiting for other patients to turn up. Date of appointment 21/7/26. 16.40 and 16.55pm

Dr Heba Ikram is amazing and makes you feel completely at ease. I’ve been here a couple of times for treatment and every visit has been completely pain free. She’s done a beautiful transformation of my teeth and I’m so confident in my smile now. Maisie, the nurse is wonderful – friendly and reassuring. Annette on reception is always polite, welcoming, and helpful. A brilliant team all round.

Annette at reception is perfect for the role. She has such a calm, reassuring manner and a soothing voice that immediately puts you at ease - exactly what you need in a dental surgery. She’s incredibly helpful and explains everything clearly and thoroughly so you always understand what’s going on. In a time when front desks can sometimes feel a bit transactional or impersonal, Annette brings a warmth and presence that really stands out.
