Without a doubt, the best mosque in Manchester. Sadly I do not live in Manchester anymore and have never been able to find a community to replicate this place. They offer classes MULTIPLE times a day for many different groups, as well as fantastic online videos. Fajr reflections are a personal favourite. When I went on Umrah a couple of years ago, I met a sister who had never visited the UK, but watched AlFurqan’s Youtube videos regularly. The sisters section is large and has a great wudu area as well. May Allah bless all those who facilitate the flourishment of this masjid.
MashaAllah some of the best teachers in Manchester - shaykh Mohammed and shaykh shaybani. Shaykh Mohammed Ali especially has an amazing teaching style, he is very welcoming and always patient and smiling. he invites and answers questions without making anyone feel it is too silly of a question. His classes on Sunday are the best. The only downside is the area and building - it’s in a very very dirty and dodgy area, maybe the masjid can organise a volunteer group to clean up the local area like makki masjid does? Also the sisters section smelled of a dead rat. I don’t want to even think of whether or not there was an actual dead rat 😭
🕌 A peaceful and welcoming Islamic centre in Manchester. 📖 Offers regular prayer services, Islamic classes, and community events. ✨ Clean and well-maintained prayer space with respectful atmosphere. 🤝 Friendly community and helpful staff. ✅ A great place for worship and learning. May Allah reward them.
Vibrant islamic centre and evening quran school. Amazing lectures by sheikh shaybani and hisham on Tuesday, friday and Sunday evenings
Great atmosphere and community. There is alot to learn weekly and daily lectures given.
One of the best Masjids in Manchester, very nice people and friendly atmosphere.
Subhanallah, we're so blessed to have so many incredible teachers here. The sheikhs, ustadhs and ustadhas are very knowledgeable and easy to chat to. There's also plenty of community talks and events for both men and women, welcome to people of all ages.
