What a fantastic afternoon we had. Extensive cocktail, gin & beer menu, delectable food with fab choices for all dietary requirements, staff service is second to none and the venue is excellent for a whole day & night of fun. The bonus is - our pup could also come & have fun!

Went for some cocktails and food then went upstairs to play pool, darts and other games in the arcade. The cocktails were so nice, I had the peach iced tea and chicken burger with the BBQ tatatots and can recommend! The food and drinks were served quickly and any empty glasses/plates were also cleared quickly.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had such a fun night at The Thieves. We originally just came for drinks but ended up staying for the quiz and it completely made the night. The quiz was great with a really good mix of questions. We weren’t even sure we’d be on our A game because we had eaten so much and honestly felt like we needed a nap, but somehow we still did pretty well. We even won the bonus question round and the prize was a karaoke night which we are very excited to come back and use. Food wise, the burger we ordered was an absolute stonker with two patties. I added bacon as well. The tater tots and halloumi fries were also really good and perfect for sharing. The cocktails were great too. The SoCo Spice Rum Punch was so good that we just kept ordering that for the rest of the night. After the quiz we went to the arcade which was so much fun. I came third in the racing game, played Guitar Hero for the first time in ages and of course had to try the classics like Pac Man and Space Invaders. Overall such a fun night out in Clapham and I will definitely be back. Great if you want something a bit more interactive than just going for drinks. 🎉

They recently renovated the place and it looks good!! The upstairs is still quite unique with games and retro arcades. Good burger menu, the burgers are actually very tasty, not the usual pub-style ones.

We went to The Thieves on a Saturday night for a stag do. It was a mixed bag. The newly refurbished pub on the ground floor has a strange atmosphere. They're clearly trying to market themselves differently with a red carpet and rope outside. It takes away from the 'arcade pub' vibes. The arcade upstairs was good fun, although quite a few of the machines were broken (or functioned poorly - only one air hockey table was working and there was barely any air). The remote controlled car race is the highlight and huge praise to the two announcers who lift it from 'this is cool' to 'great fun'. It is very expensive, the credits are not cheap and they do not last long at all. We had a good time at the arcade but we left to go to a different pub with a better atmosphere when we were through with the games. Overall the arcade is good fun, albeit expensive, and the pub was lacking.

We had such a great night celebrating my birthday here with a group of about 25 people. The whole team were really accommodating when we had some slight delays and everything overall ran smoothly on the night. Mark and Jaz were so helpful and quick to respond while organising the booking so it made planning everything really easy. The arcade games were fun, but the karaoke was definitely the highlight of the night, everyone loved it! Would definitely recommend for a birthday or group event :)

Unimpressed with the new Ivy location down the street we set off for more of a local vibe. The Thieves is stunning inside and was a pleasure to explore with thoughtful nooks and crannies full of things to do. Adore that we had both very fancy cocktails and yummy food like adults then ran to the fully realised vintage arcade in the back and behaved like children. Lovely staff, fully recommend. Was nice to get Balans food too, hope the menu expands in future.

The new owners have put a lot of work into making this great space such a lively place with tons on. From comedy to music to amazing food, I am proud to call this my local spot. The burgers are delicious and they have great deals on. The roast is a must try with their home made mint sauce, gravy that rivals a Hawksmoor roast, parsnips and all the trimming. They have a great selection of beers and proper cocktails. I haven’t played in the arcade yet but it’s an impressive set up. Shout out to Mark for his awesome service. Can’t wait to come back!
