Ffiona's

We were in London attending a real estate conference, and several people we met highly recommended Ffiona’s for dinner, so of course we had to try it… and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the restaurant felt warm, cozy, and inviting. It’s a relatively small space, but that’s part of its charm. The décor makes you feel like you’re dining in someone’s home. It was comfortable, intimate, and full of character. Ffiona herself greeted us and, all the customers that came in. She kindly gave us the choice of sitting in the front or toward the back, which was such a lovely personal touch. Both Ffiona and her sister were absolutely wonderful. We had the lamb and the chicken Kyiv, and both were delicious. Everything was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and made for a wonderful dinner experience. If you ever find yourself in London, especially around the Kensington area, make sure to stop by Ffiona’s. It was a lovely experience, and we would absolutely return!

Fiona’s is a mainstay place for us every time we are in London. The space is small, filled with kitschy memorabilia and news postings. Fiona is always there to explain the chalkboard menu and take your drink orders. It’s a local haunt for the Kennsington neighborhood, but a welcoming place for tourists like us. The food is special, a mix of typical British fare with a few twists thrown in. The entire staff is great. Highly recommended.

We were recommended to visit this place from someone who works in London frequently. We're so glad that we were able to stop by. It was the last dinner we had during our most recent trip to London, two weeks ago! It was a great way to end the trip ❤️ We placed a reservation for dinner and ate there before seeing play that night. We would have stayed longer if the play wasn't starting soon after. The place has a great ambience. We quickly noticed how Ffiona treats her guest with care and kindness upon arrival. I let Ffiona know about not having dairy in my meals and she was clear on what could be adapted to not have dairy and which items to avoid completely. We truly enjoyed everything we ate, and had to be careful not to stuff ourselves. We had the sheppards pie, fish and chips, aubergine fritters, a tasty salad with some vegan cheese and a couple of desserts. They some great drink options too! We had a mocktail. Ffiona communicated that there was optional service charge that could be removed upon request before we even presented our card for payment. We did not have it removed due to the great service we recieved. Next time we are in London, we will surely make a visit here.

Sadly no photos of our delicious brekkie, as it didn’t last very long! We were so pleased to find this wonderful spot on our little wander through Kensington last weekend. My son and I were welcomed so warmly by staff and the food was super fresh, and the French toast I could have eaten twice! Thanks you for sure a great experience and we will be back next time we are in town.

Like visiting a friend who cooks really well and loves to feed you your favorite foods that you didn't know were your favorites. Ffiona's there's a warm, welcoming place with a cozy atmosphere and a friendly loving staff.

After visiting Kensington, I can confidently say that this is one of the best places to experience a truly authentic English breakfast. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the loveliest lady, who hosts the place with such genuine warmth that you immediately feel at home. Even though I arrived without a reservation, the staff went out of their way to help me. They were incredibly caring, kind, and supportive, doing everything they could to arrange a table for me. That level of hospitality already set the tone for a wonderful visit. The breakfast itself was outstanding. Every single element on the plate, from the eggs to the sausage, mushrooms, beans, black pancake and toast was cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. You can feel the quality in each bite, as if nothing is pre-made or rushed. The fresh orange juice was another highlight: vibrant, refreshing, and clearly squeezed on the spot, which made the whole meal feel even more special. The interior of the café adds a lot to the whole experience. It has a very classic English charm, cosy and beautifully decorated, with fresh flowers placed around the room. These small touches make the space feel warm and personal. The place was completely packed, which is always a good sign, but despite the crowd, the atmosphere remained calm, friendly, and full of positive energy. The customers around me also seemed relaxed and happy, which tells you a lot about the consistency and quality of this place. Overall, it’s a spot where great food, genuine hospitality, and a charming English ambience come together perfectly. I would happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a real English breakfast experience.

We went here for the most amazing meal! The prawns and aubergine fritters were unbelievable and think it was the best steak pie I've ever had! Had to finish off sharing the cheesecake and crumble- both of which were delicious! And a great wine selection. Such a fun atmosphere and Fiona is lovely- so worth a trip!

A true delight! Small cute place. We went for a gluten free breakfast. The staff was knowledgable and there is so much that they can safely make gluten free. We ordered two dishes gluten free and shared them. One was a typical egg dish and the other pancakes with fresh berries. Both were exceptional. The bread was very good as were the fluffy pancakes! We were chatting and the waitress said she was cooking the next day on Easter and they were making a "proper English roast" and I could have it all gluten free! Never having this we immediately knew we needed to make reservations. Texted friends who were in town and booked it. It was so good. The food, the atmosphere, FFiona and her staff were incredible. I honestly can not say enough about the whole experience. They let us into their world and we are better for it!
