We had a fantastic evening at Swadish by Ajay Kumar in Glasgow. We chose the five course set menu with wine pairings, one vegetarian and one with meat, and both were exceptional. Every course was full of flavour, beautifully presented and clearly made with real care. The wine pairings worked really well and made the meal feel even more special. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Ajay, which was a lovely touch. The food, atmosphere and overall experience were outstanding. In my opinion, Swadish truly deserves a Michelin star sooner rather than later. A memorable meal and one of the best dining experiences we have had in Glasgow. Highly recommended

The lamb for 2 was absolutely stunning and delicious, as were the desserts. The blue cheese nan went well with the lamb too. We went on an empty stomach and still had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. The gulab jamun was warm and comforting, and the chocolate and raspberry cake was absolutely divine. And all beautifully presented as well. Underrated restaurant in my opinion - it was very quiet when we were in on a Sunday. Minor areas that could have been better - the staff missed describing one of the dishes that was served and it was hard to get a hold of someone to get the bill after our desserts. The masala chai was quite weak and would have benefitted from being stronger. We will definitely be back to try more dishes as the ala carte menu had many interesting dishes. Very vegetarian friendly too.

My wife and I went for the taster menu and I can honestly say every dish was exquisite. My wife is quite fussy but ate every one of the five courses, as did I. The service is exelent, we were well looked after the second we walked through the door firstly by Mathew and then by Sunny both exelent at their job. The restaurant has a very welcoming friendly atmosphere, not too noisy that you have to raise your voice to have a conversation. So all in all a great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff and amazing food that I can guarantee wont disappointed you. Thank you chef Ajay

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time at Swadish by Ajay Kumar. Every dish stood out, especially the curried mussels and Punjabi Lamb Shank, both packed with incredible taste. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and the hospitality from the team made the evening even more enjoyable. A place that truly delivers both quality food and excellent service. Will definitely come back to try other options from their menu soon.

A vegan, a veggie and a carnivore all ate well here! Clearly labelled allergens on the menu and a creative menu too. A mixture of familiar and unfamiliar menu items. & the naans can be veganised! (Including the mango peshwari 🤩 Highly recommend the aloo tiki, samosas and aubergine

An Outstanding Culinary Experience at Swadish I have never had a better Indian meal than the one my husband, Christopher, and I enjoyed last night at Swadish. The balance of flavors, the presentation, the lovely service, and the beautiful surroundings—everything was perfect. It truly made our day! The Highlights of Our Evening: The Nibbles: We started with the Trio of Chutneys and Poppadoms. They were sensational—crisp, fresh, and not oily at all. The mango chutney, pickled carrot, and spiced onion salsa provided so many layers of flavor and texture. The Mains: I had the Goan Monkfish, which was cooked to perfection with hints of star anise and tamarind. Christopher opted for the Butter Chicken. We shared a side of the fragrant Basmati Pilau Rice and a blue cheese naan (next level 😋). Everything was immaculate! The Drinks: The pairings were spot on; Christopher had a refreshing Indian IPA, and my Riesling Sec was the perfect crisp companion to the spices. The Grand Finale: We shared the Mango Kulfi for dessert. Between the salted caramel, coconut crumble, and toasted pistachio it was so delicious we were fighting over the last spoonful! Thank you, Swadish, for a truly immaculate experience. We cannot wait to come back!

We loved our experience at Swadish! Fantastic, vibrant, tasty food, great atmosphere, quick and pleasant service. We were there for over three hours and not once we were rushed to leave. Reduced bill via the First Table deal was an added bonus. Everything was perfect - thank you. We will be back!
