Glasgow Botanic Gardens

Glasgow Botanic Gardens quickly became one of my favorite places in the city ❤️ My absolute highlight was Kibble Palace – a magnificent Victorian glasshouse made of iron and glass, filled with beautiful exotic plants. It's such a peaceful place to wander and admire the incredible architecture and greenery. In the evenings, they even host concerts there, which makes the atmosphere even more magical. Simply put, I loved it.

The Glasgow Botanic Gardens is definitely worth the visit especially if its a very sunny day out. You can always relax on the benches all around or sit with others in the grass during the sunny times 😁 The actual buildings have so many cool plants, trees and more. I have very bad allergies but this whole experience was worth the trip and my allergies didn't get as bad as I thought they would so recommend for anyone with allergies haha Overall a very cool spot 😎 I highly recommend this for a visit and it's free of charge which is absolutely amazing. You can of course leave tips as these little tip stations are all around if you'd like to support them.

A very lovely botanical garden! The entrance was free and they had a nice collection of tropical and desert plants. They have a nice open space too suitable for a walk or a picnic. We found some people rehearsing a Theater play, so that made our visit a bit more interesting :)

Beautiful! The glasshouses are so expansive and have so many interesting plants. Lots of informative signs too. We also attended a Bard in the Botanics performance which was wonderful!

Really great glasshouses with temperate and tropical plants. The gardens are good to stroll about and the rose garden especially appealing. Cafe and toilets both well signposted. The carnivorous plant house was the best I've seen.

A must when in Glasgow. Excellent glasshouses with superb plants. A great place to chill out or go with the family. Plenty of seating and a very nice setting for the café.

Glasgow Botanic Gardens are located in the west end of Glasgow five minutes walk from Hillhead underground station. The gardens are beautifully maintained and well equipped with seating benches, on a sunny day it may be difficult to find a seat. The Victorian Kibble Palace is a fine example of cast iron architecture that house many examples of tropical plants and a collection of marble statues. The gardens have a tearoom and kiosk for drinks and food, both are well worth a visit. The gardens are free to visit and are a good way of passing a lazy summer afternoon. Well worth a visit.

A beautiful place to visit. Lots of pretty greenery and well kept greenhouses with a wide variety of plants. Quite a squirrel community that don't fear coming up close to you to get fed. Caters for all ages and its free.
