Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend. We visited this restaurant yesterday, and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. Both the food and service need significant improvement. To start, we ordered two pints of Birra Moretti, which had an unusual taste. We suspect the beer lines were not cleaned properly, as the taste was off. In hindsight, we should have sent them back, but we chose to give them the benefit of the doubt. Food - Starter: We decided to try the Mixed Grill (£24.00), which included: • 2 x Chicken Tikka: Flavourful and moist. • 2 x Tandoori Wings: Okay, but nothing special; we’ve had better elsewhere. • 2 x Lamb Kebab (Sheek Kebab): Fine, though the spices tasted raw, and it could have been cooked longer. • 2 x Lamb Tikka: Very disappointing, thin pieces of lamb (should be chunks, not thin slices) and a strange taste. They definitely didn’t taste fresh. • 2 x Lamb Chops: These were the worst part of the meal; tough, chewy, and had a weird taste. The raw marinade around the bone indicated it wasn’t cooked properly, and the meat was far from fresh. We were also served three sauces with the Mixed Grill and they were thin, watery, and lacked any real flavour, which made the whole experience even more underwhelming. Food - Main Course: • Butter Chicken (£11.50): This was the worst butter chicken we’ve ever had. The chicken tasted like it had been poached and then added to a bland, overly sweet gravy with a hint of coconut. There was no charring or smoky flavour typical of tandoori-cooked chicken and the overall dish lacked freshness and depth of flavour. It was more like the low quality curries you find at cheap places in Brick Lane, which was very disappointing. • Kasoori Chicken Curry (£11.50): This dish was swimming in oil with no discernible flavour of Kasoori methi. It was bland, greasy and clearly not fresh. • Garlic Naan (£4.00): This was the only saving grace, well-cooked and tasty. Service: The service was equally disappointing. When we placed our order, we confirmed with the waitress that we had ordered plain rice along with the curries and naan. However, when the curries and naan arrived, the rice was missing. The waitress assured us it was on its way, but it never came and we had finished our main course without the rice. Additionally, one of us accidentally spilled some sauce on the table and when the waitress collected them after we finished the Mixed Grill, we apologised for the mess and she made no effort to clean it. We had to do so ourselves before the main course arrived. We expressed our dissatisfaction about the missing rice and asked for it to be removed from the bill, along with the service charge, which we felt was unwarranted given the lack of attention to detail. Given the prices, the quality and taste of the food were simply not justified. At £11.50 per curry and £24.00 for the Mixed Grill, we expected much better quality and flavours, especially when compared to similar restaurants in the area. In conclusion, we would not recommend this restaurant, as there are plenty of better alternatives nearby, such as: • Sea Rock Indian Bar & Restaurant (Finchley) • Sun & Sand Lounge (Finchley) • Boulevard (Friern Barnet) • Park View Bar & Restaurant (Bounds Green/Arnos Grove)

Food is ok, it's insanely expensive tho, even by London standard. Yes the chicken tikka masala is good, but 14 quid for just a small bowl of curry without rice or naan is crazy. Honestly I think they should be a bit more generous with their portion, the whiskey shot is the same. Its only a half shot for a fully shot price. Definitely not worth it. Wouldn't recommend it even the curry is authentic. Quite a rip off.

We went to watch England play in the world Cup. Great food options for people who has no allergies or intolerances, the rest of the group loved their burger and mutton rolls, it is on the pricey side though, would be great if they could get some gluten free options. I would say its not great to have buckets collecting water dripping from the ceiling, I know they had a sign next to it but as someone who uses a walking stick it was a small space to manouver around. The atmosphere was great, the servers kept bringing us drinks and food that didn't belong to us but it was a busy night so mistakes are more likely. Its a lovely pub overall just wish I could eat something

My new favourite in North London! I was just passing by and decided to pop in for a quick bite, and I’m so glad I did. I only tried the tandoori wings and lamb chops, but wow… they were absolutely epic! The quality of the meat was top-notch, and the flavours were spot on, juicy, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. You can tell a lot of care goes into their food. The decor and ambience is on point too, very classy! Definitely looking forward to coming back and exploring more of their extensive menu.

it was absolutely amazing! The food was rich, flavorful, and truly delicious. The staff were very nice, and the restaurant has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine definitely worth a visit!

I quite liked the food, my dining partner thought it was just OK. We had lamb biryani and aubergine curry. Both dishes were very fragrant and spicier than expected. The prices are reasonable and they have a reasonable selection of drinks. The prices seem about right for this area. The staff were nice and friendly. It would be great to see this place do well, as it's clear they want to provide a nice service and good food at a reasonable price.

A very spacious and well done pub — clearly the owners have put in a lot of effort. However I’m not a huge fan of pubs that do a lot more than the classics — also the scampi came with a saucy spicy salad that was uncalled for, as I already had peas , tartar sauce and fries, the essentials done decent — felt like an Indian twist to the scampi which was not to my preference (given the pub is does English-Indian food). The Amstell pint was fresh but could do better glasses. Overall, felt a bit overdone and noisy instead of reticent, focused but warm, grounded. Probably great for football and sports watching.

Went upstairs for the Indian menu, was exceptional. Service was great too - there were about 15 of us and the table service was for food and drink and done very efficiently. Would recommend to everyone, we plan to visit again
