Kashmir Supermarket

Very disappointing experience at Kashmir Supermarket in Beeston. I purchased a 1kg lamb shoulder, but the quality of the meat was extremely poor. It contained far more bone than meat and did not seem fresh at all. I felt misled by what I was sold. To make matters worse, the staff in both the meat and vegetable sections were rude and unhelpful. Their attitude towards customers was unprofessional, and they seemed to lack basic customer service skills and manners. I expect better quality products and respectful service when spending my money. Unfortunately, this visit fell well below that standard. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this supermarket based on my experience.

I’ve now had two separate incidents at this supermarket where I was charged for items I never purchased, both while being served by AnBreen. The first incorrect charge was around £8, and the second was £2.75 added as the first scanned item on the receipt. In both cases I had to go back and request a refund. I remained calm and polite when raising the issue, and the refunds were given, but having this happen twice with the same cashier is very concerning and has seriously affected my trust in the store. I would strongly advise customers to carefully check their receipts before leaving.

It has everything you might need to cook traditional African or Asian food. Thid aldo has a section for different types halal meat and home products for the kitchen. I for one love to buy the dates. They also have a side store now for hair so when I go buy food I can also check out hair and hair products here. So convinient!

The shop has a good range of products and generally stocks everything you need. However, the customer service really lets it down. On several occasions I’ve seen staff speaking rudely to customers and even getting into arguments, which creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. It feels like they rely on the fact that there aren’t many supermarkets in the area, so people keep coming out of convenience rather than choice. If there were more options nearby, their poor customer service would definitely be a bigger issue.

I'm white British, but I happened to call into this place by chance, as I was passing by. And I found all sorts of things and at a reasonable price. Only trouble I found is that some beggars are hanging around outside in the car park, which puts shoppers off. But unfortunately the area is rife with beggars. Otherwise it's a great place to shop with a variety of interesting foods. I will call in again when passing by.

Ordered groceries from these guy with uber eats. They gave mutton instead of lamb (knowing full well the price & quality difference) and sent me the milk which expired the next day. Very cheeky and cheap people. Luckily uber eats refunded me the difference. I will never go here again.

Worst Staff in beef side. They never bothered who is waiting to be served. The only two times i went there and it happens each time. Last time i went there around 7:30pm. The person was just standing doing nothing not asking what you want. The other guy was busy dealing with customers. I thought i will do other shopping and came back to them. I came back to them around 7:40. One guy was picking up the beef trays. I asked the same guy who was just standing doing nothing when i went around 7:30. So this guy said chicken has finished but it was already there. The reason they wind up early. The closing timing was 8:00 pm. I have to go to another shop to buy some chicken. So this is my last time i went there. There are many other shops which are much better and have good staff.

It's a one stop shop for all your food needs... I just love the variety of spices and healthy seeds, fruits and nuts found there...
