Firmament Berlin Renaissance

Recently visited Firmament and I must say that I had an amazing experience. Andre was incredibly polite, welcoming and friendly! (Read the Full Review) I was astonished by this little shop, it was located somewhat hidden away from the business and it sits cozily between cafes and across a park. Somewhat simple and I you could miss it if you’re not intentionally looking. It is located in a very cute area. THE STORE. It’s simple, clean and doesn’t boast too much about the brands they carry. Subtle branding but it simply speaks for its brand identity. Very modern and cozy. Uses earth tones and simple white to break up the space and also again to communicate that it’s all about the brands they carry. This shop doesn’t look cheap, it’s gorgeous inside! Once you’re inside it forces you to explore and the back of the store is where the good stuff is. Little bench area to sit down and try on shoes, change room in the back. The all white aesthetics and great lighting helps bring out the true potential of those garments. The cash register is located off to the middle of the store but it’s offset to the east of the store making it feel like a gallery space more than an actual store, quiet a cool concept layout. THE STAFF. Andre like I previously mentioned was great! He immediately took the time to get to know us and took interest. He didn’t make us feel like we’re just customers, he made us feel like guest. We felt a little more at ease looking around cause he gave us space. He helped us with no hesitation, we didn’t feel like we were troubling him especially since we were the only once’s there. We had a great conversation, super friendly. I felt so welcomed! This is something that you don’t experience in Berlin too often. It was refreshing feeling like we walked into a grid s apartment/gallery. He gave us options to try and encouraged us to ask more questions and try out all sizes, again, we felt like we weren’t trouble at all. THE CLOTHES. They carry a whole variety of brands like Vans, Cavt Emp (receive shipment monthly) Stone Island, Birkenstock, Neighborhood, WTaps, Stussy, and much more. THE VERDICT. We did end up grabbing these amazing magazine: Eye_C and Popeyes from Japan. Great service, pleasant atmosphere, unobtrusive team, cool and rare stuff. Thank you for having us and glad we found another amazing store here in Berlin. Highly recommend coming here and exploring what they have to offer. Ein wunderbares Einkaufserlebnis! Die Mitarbeiter von Firmament Berlin waren freundlich und kompetent, und die Produktqualität ist hervorragend. Ich werde sie auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Ich finde dort immer tolle Geschenkideen. Die Mitarbeiter sind aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, und die Kasse ist immer einladend.

I place my order from Spain and it arrived very quickly. The team at Firmament Berlin always answered my questions and followed up to ensure that my boots arrived in good condition. Highly recommended shop, I will definitely buy there again.

Sehr schöner Laden, wo ich schon so einiges gekauft habe. Aber was ist mit dem Verkäufer geworden? Früher war sehr freundlicher schottischer Mann da. Er war prima, gut gelaunt und hilfsbereit. Aber jetzt? Zurückhaltender, arroganter, misstrauisch blickender asiatischer Mann? Neee, mehr werde ich diesen Laden nicht betreten, sorry...

Die Einrichtung des Ladens ist an Coolness kaum zu überbieten, aber das Prinzip "Weniger ist mehr" könnte man betreffs des Sortiments mal überdenken. Ich finde dort leider selten etwas. Sehr schade, dass ob der kleinen Größe des Ladens solche langweiligen Marken wie Stone Island angeboten werden, die in vielen anderen Läden in Berlin und darüber hinaus auch zu finden sind. Wenn das Konzept des Ladens schon klein und exklusiv ist, würde ich mir mehr unbekannte Marken wünschen.
