Dotori - Korean Anju Bar

Probably the best restaurant I have ever eaten! I spent five months in Korea last year and ate wonderful food there, but the food here was really special. We had the deluxe menu. I loved all of the foods that were included in that menu. My favourites were the Korean pancake, the chicken broth, and the acorn jelly (which I loved in Korea but hadn’t been able to find in Europe yet!). We also ordered the alcohol pairing. Glad we did! We received three different Korean rice wines that paired perfectly with the food. The dessert was not included in the price but was not expensive. We had a mochi with red bean paste and roasted soybean powder. The ambiance at Dotori was also amazing. They played Korean music and the staff was really kind. We had an amazing evening that we will never forget. Thank you so much Dotori! So sad you’re closing! Hoping you’ll reopen somewhere else in Europe!

Very interesting experience in this restaurant. I’m a bit of a picky eater so I did not love everything, but my partner, with a broader palate really did. There were some great dishes, such as the pancake, which were absolute stars. Some things as spicy, so be aware of that. I would recommend the rice wine pairing, all were interesting and tasty.

From the entrance all the way to the exit of the restaurant, we’ve been treated and greeted with so much welcome and warmth! the idea of the restaurant and experience is super interesting and fun! As soon as you sit down they explain it to you! Food was super flavorful! very different dishes from what we’re used to from Korean! desert after was also the best cherry on top to this meal!The non alcoholic hibiscus wine tea was SO GOOD! we definitely left the place more than full and satisfied! Last but not least, the staff were super friendly and again welcoming! conversation with them felt like we’ve known each-other for the longest time! Definitely i recommend going! & would definitely go again & again for different occasions!

기본 오마카세 4인 : 베지테리안 2 + 일반 2(글루텐 프리, 간장ok) 로 주문했어요. 안주 바 라고 해서 음식 양은 크게 기대 안했는데 생각보다 많이 나와서 놀랬어요. 고기는 소고기메추리알장조림이랑 삼겹수육 베지테리안버전은 매운 두부조림 강된장 그리고 반찬갯수도 신경써서 더 나왔던거 같아요. 고기조림이 어찌나 잘 되었는지 먹는내내 지방의 쫀득함과 고기 살의 부드러움을 감탄하며 먹었습니다. 김에 보리쌀밥, 멸치볶음 올려 친구 입에 넣어주며 “우리 엄마가 아침마다 이렇게 먹여줬거든~” 했는데… 생각해보니 우리 가족 멸치볶음엔 잣이 이렇게 많지않았어요. 술 페어링도 되게 좋았어요. 와인이랑 막걸리 산뜻하니 달지 않고 음식들과 조화가 좋더라구요. 친구들은 전통주 3잔 페어링으로 시켯는데, 잔술 가격 생각해보면 요즘 서울 막걸리바도 비슷했던거 같아 비싸다고 생각은 안들더라구요. 예약이 어려웠는데 막상가보니 바 쪽 좌석들은 제가 갔던 시간엔 비어있었어요. 관심있으시다면 당일에 한번 더 전화해보시길 추천!

We went for the Lunar New Year dinner and everything was amazing. Service was sweet and attentive - each dish was explained to us, food and wine - delicious, and the place is really cute. Highly recommend!

Have been meaning to try Dotori for a while, and pretty much rushed here after hearing they’re closing this summer :( Such a shame though cause I really enjoyed the food here! Also the deluxe menu was defintely worth the 49€ p.p. You get 3 rounds of food plus dessert which we had to refuse as we were already too full by that point. My favourite was definitely the 3rd round where we were served bossam and seafood pancakes. I’d definitely try to make another visit before they officially close in a couple months.

One of the most beautiful and interesting places for going with friends. A good choice for experiencing anju culture. Good foot with an amazing soju. The staff is well trained and helpful. However, if you’re a vegetarian or vegan, just double check what you eat in busy times.
